Hey Paul. I'm on the waiting list for a Republic Parlor. They're a little hard to get right now, just like everything else I guess. I have a lot of learning to do, but I have a kind of feeling about this music. I can sing OK but it's going to be nice to accompany with a resonator like you are doing. Can I at least ask you what tuning you are using and is it always the same one? Some guys are open D, some open G, and some open E. I need a starting point! Any suggestions welcome. Cool old tune man. Like the way you play too.
Good luck with your parlor guitar - and tune it any way you want and try everything out. When I started, I borrowed my friends' accoustic guitars for a week and tuned them each in a different open tuning and played them all day long. At the end I found myself loving the open d-tuning dadf#ad (on my National I even go one note deeper to C ) also because of my vocal range - it helps if you can sing the highest note of the open tuning easily (open g-tuning the high g). Wish you a lot of fun and all the best...Paul
Nice -playing, great sound
Beautiful melody with solid rhythm
Wow what a sound! Sounds like a recording from the 30's! Great perfomance, you're really good Sir!
Thank you. I love the music from this period.

What a cool tune and great playing and singing. Thanks for sharing that one!
Man I hope getting a chance to make money playing. I always like to listen to you're playing
You always can make money - but if it's enough to make a living...
God bless you wherever you go.
@@MrPaulWelten Paul, you just confirmed what I thought was true of you. < compliment, just in case anyone misinterprets.
