is there any chance to bending spiral pipe without mandrel?i saw that before using bending machine without mandrel for longitudinal pipe(56''diameter-0.77''thickness)
That is a crew from Troy construction in a non- union project, I can say they did pretty good with that 24” line and stayed clear from the pipe gang, but as far as comparing them to others I would agree with you, they should have been faster but I was their inspector, so I wouldn’t tell a crew how to do their job. Thanks for your comments!
Im work union bending every yrar and these guys fuckin suck. They blew the mandrel down before the bending operator was even done with the pull like 2 times. Plus they can barely center a joint of pipe
Coming from someone who has swamped pipe for one of the best damn bendcrew foremans around, you bending that 36 a little slow to be on a nice flat stretch. I'm gonna take a guess you guys are non union
I have heard that from a lot of people and not a single one did what they said, turns out that the one thing you brag about the most is the one you know the least
Whatever you say. Means nothing to me. Bending pipe is all I do. Wide open, all day, none of that slow shit. None of that hydraulic shit. No need to get offended.
Paul, evidently you have never worked in this trade so it is hard for you to understand the satisfaction of a hard days work so I will give you the benefit to make your own conclusions based on ignorance and laziness

There is no such thing to bend pipe without internal mandrel especially 56" ? 24" to larger dia. Pipe must be required internal mandrel .
