    Nice show I just used the ignite firing system this year for the first time as well. I think it's a great system just a learning curve

    Which igniters did you use for ignite? DId you use the normal talon ones, or the mjg firewire igniters?

    • @landonmcconaghy9351
      @landonmcconaghy9351  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I used the mjg igniters for the whole show, even the consumer one in the beginning

      @@landonmcconaghy9351 How are they while using them? I plan on getting them next but dont you have to use a brass poke and get into the cake a little? How do you light cans also with them?

    • @landonmcconaghy9351
      @landonmcconaghy9351  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Octuly they work great! yes you have to poke a hole right where the fuse goes into the cake and insert the mjg igniter then I tape over the igniter so it does not fall out. For canister shells I just used a combination of fuses that burns at different rates and wired them all up to one igniter but their is better ways to do it. I found a video that has a couple more ways th-cam.com/video/z9gM1f06O-A/w-d-xo.html

    any delay with shooting?

    • @landonmcconaghy9351
      @landonmcconaghy9351  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No delays with the ignite system, the only delays were some cakes went a little faster than expected.

      @@landonmcconaghy9351 Thank you for reaction. Good to see there is no delay.
      You mean the burning time of the cakes was too fast? This has nothing to do with the Ignition firing system?

    • @landonmcconaghy9351
      @landonmcconaghy9351  ปีที่แล้ว

      correct, the firing system has no delay@@bassbox8912

    I highly highly recommend cobra firing system over ignite. I'm not sure when the 8" went off? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 I shot 4 on every one of my shows this year so I'm curious what the 8" effects were?

    • @landonmcconaghy9351
      @landonmcconaghy9351  ปีที่แล้ว

      Cobra is definitely nicer, but for the price I went with Ignite, Cobra makes the ignite system. The two 8s went off at the very end, the 2 red breaks

    Nice setup, staked cakes! 👍 Can I ask what state you're in? In my state we can have and store all the 1.3g we want (with federal license of course), but an individual can't get a permit to shoot them... has to be a business/organization.

    • @landonmcconaghy9351
      @landonmcconaghy9351  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We can buy as much 1.3g as we want also, with a federal license. but storing it is different, depending on the size of the firework magazine and where its located will determine how much you can store. It also must have padlocks with at least 5 pins, and 3/8in shackles I believe (don't quote me on that) and you cant have the padlock exposed where someone could cut it/ grind it off. An ATF agent must inspect and sign off that the storage is adequate.

      @jeremy7923 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@landonmcconaghy9351yes those are federal regulations... but I'm asking if your state restricts the discharge of 1.3g on your own property. Here, they do, and it's very hard to get around.
