Can this affect bowel movements? I’m currently being evaluated however I have tightness in the anal region and it affects BM.

This lumbar plexus nerves mainly innervates the motor muscles such as lower limbs and tummy's muscles. Bowel movements are relationship with the autonomic nervous system, not the lumbar plexus. Maybe you have got irritable bowel syndrome. Get well soon.

@@Tobias27_ thank you for your response. Had a anal fistula and had it repaired. Pelvic floor therapist think the pain is coming from my spine . Chiropractor has done five adjustments and I’ve been good for several months. Gynaecologist says I have a tiny rectocele. Uro gynaecologist says I don’t have a rectocele. Pelvic floor therapist says I don’t have a rectocele . Getting anal manometry test Oct 2022 and waiting for referral for defecography.
As well saw natural path and they observed dysbiosis my stool due to too much yeast. So in line with IBS.
