The bridge connecting Malaysia and Singapore covers a longer distance na bado ships pass through.. This bridge solves half the problem.... South coast has developed at a slower pace than north coast coz of the unreliability of the ferry. We need to decongesg north coast.

Why not build the bridge on tall pylons to allow the passage of ships and boats without all that mechanical work? I'm not an expert in this area, but it seems like the floating bridge will cost a lot in maintenance.

In the next five years we will spend more money to remove that bridge and add the vehicle section... but for now it is an acceptable step...
