Can't wait to see it working, always nice to keep things working, never know when you need it to keep going and get the job done. That was lucky the PTO cover went the way it did it could have hit the side of your Wifes car that would be a bad day.
Richard. You'll need two new tyres & tubes, because that left side one will crack up and burst the tube within 30 minutes in operation. Nice try though, can't wait to see it all going. Cheers
Lovely video. The pins are called lynch pins. What i try and do, is have the pins sitting in each implement, so when i pull up to an implement, the pins are just sitting there. Its a bit of an i vestment upfront, but a pin is only a couple of euro.
Lynch pins originally had no spring ring.. the ones we have today were invented by a man by the name of Chambers's, he was an Ulster man and one of Harry Fergusons right hand men who helped with the draught control and 3 point linkage. Story goes John Chambers was on a trip to the Ferguson plant in the USA and while harry was doing business John was waiting and in his pocket was a pen knife which he was flicking the ring on the end of his knife with his thumb, the ring snapped over and caught his thumb which give him the idea of a ring that would snap over to keep the pin in place, it is said he went into the workshop and it was him John Chambers that developed the lynch pin we use today.
Truly beautiful sunrise Richard 😊 special moments in time to share and remember ❤. I noticed a wall with the stone toppers on it 👍👍 in the tedders barn , is that same as the line render one Nigel ?? did .....💪 Love the Massey 35. Great to see it working .. .not like these new machines with miles of wiring etc...... when farming was real hard work..... ."crack on" mate 😊🚜
Good morning Richard, That tractor do look a right picture just a little gem, What will young Harry say if you go off with out him he soon get stuck in, Here’s looking forward to tomorrow until then take care of yourself and stay safe.🚜🚜⭐️👍👌
Well done funky farmerrrrrrrr looks like were being treated to a few videos with the vintage machines, l bloody love it. I’m just sat here wondering what your young farmer viewers think of the old stuff being used, I can appreciate it takes your time away from normal duties but it must be good for your channel, I’m sure the Americans love to see this content.👍
Hi, just wish to point out ....regards part of my previous comment ...i totally respect the work that farmers have to do, the looinnngggg hours still needed... So not showing any disrespect there..... if clarkesons farm, and indeed my sisters up in Scotland...is anything to go by .its tough ! And they have had to sell the dairy herd and switch to just beef cattle, as the costs are just becoming unsustainable...as for not as nuch return .... So hope that clears up that point.....
Harry Ferguson changed the way people were involved with farming by inventing the 3 point linkage and obviously our wee grey fergie.. This got me thinking.. You sir have done the same.... your the one who opened all the doors so others could follow your the harry Ferguson of farming on TH-cam and im sure he would approve.. stay safe 🏴
Everybody loves This time of year, I’m out in the cold a rain like yourselves enjoy every minute of it Thanks for your Videos, You could do a fish and chip video again, Lads are getting Big you must be proud.
Good morning we had 35Xs for years, don’t put tool box on the mud guard, it goes on the stabiliser for the front axle, and you have done a school boy error, the front pin on the drawbar carriage should be pointing to the rear of the tractor so it doesn’t catch the hay and drag it along👍
I have some brackets on my link arms that hold Lynch pins when not in use. They have a short chain so are always with the Tractor. Part no 4145 from Agriline. Only £2.99 each plus VAT. Get some for all your Tractors. Order them when you buy their Red Toolbox Part No 2116 (Only £14.95) for the 35. Good Luck & Crack On.
Wipe the dust of with a cloth using your hand will scratch the paint if there is bits fine stone on there in a car yard you be sacked for using your hand
you may aswell had 2 new tyres and tubes for the haybob also there not difficult at all to replace yourself.......the call out charge will cost more than 2 new tyres and tubes ........think i would have just took the haybob off the 265 and put that one on the 35 especially if your only using once or twice
Sad to say but I think it was almost inevitable that as soon as you hitched the Hay Bob to the Tractor that something was going to get damaged on the tractor. It’s Sods Law I’m afraid. Admire your tenacity to want to use it but I’d leave it in the shed and just use it for special occasions like runs, shows etc.
How is the tyre person going to change the tyre without lifting the haybob? They will need to have the key and be able to operate the arms. Or will you be there?
Oh my god your taking me back to my young man days I used my grandfather mf 135 which had multi power on it with loader, we used to do over 100 acres plus contracting o with me dad done hay and straw baling it. cutting turning raking baling even had bale buncher. bring bails to there sheds for stacking all small square bales may be handle 10,000 for 2 months summer I was a fit young muscle lad then late 70 mid 80 those were the day as have great tan last for months
You've checked the hydraulic fluid level in the 35? And greased the pto and tedder? Such a shame to see good old stuff not looked after. I've noticed it lurch forwards as you get off too - one day it'll bump start and throw you off the back while you're getting off. Slow down, let it stop then get off.
Good morning the funky farmer

Nice to see you batter your way out of the shed.. don't hit the car...😅😅🤣🤣..
The pins are called lynch pins for your lift arms the lift on the 35 will always go down when it's not running my uncles 135 was the same
Hello @The Funky Farmer your content is indeed exceedingly legendary sir. Bravo Sir Bravo Sir Indeed.
You're living the dream Richard 👌👍
Richard. You'll need two new tyres & tubes, because that left side one will crack up and burst the tube within 30 minutes in operation. Nice try though, can't wait to see it all going. Cheers
Keep up the good work Richard

Nostalgia. Love it. Thank you. xx
Good to see the 35 in use, I still use a 135 for light jobs especially on the haybob for which it's perfect.
Lynch pins originally had no spring ring.. the ones we have today were invented by a man by the name of Chambers's, he was an Ulster man and one of Harry Fergusons right hand men who helped with the draught control and 3 point linkage. Always watch you on a Saturday morning before going to work

Mr Cornock!! Ignore all the trolls on here saying they're called "lynch pins". Any real farmer knows they're called "Wibble Sticks" really.
