I know the new edition is out but the screen just seems too large and overwhelming for my 2yr old daughter. Sometimes newer isn’t always better. After this review I’m happy with my purchase. Thank you!

Thank you. I was very skeptical about buying it buy after watching your video. It has helped me make the decision to pick up two of them for my 8 year old daughter and 10 year old son. In your opinion is this tablet just good for streaming. We do decent amount of car travel and don't want excess about of hotspot data being used by tablet. Wasnt sure how much offline activities are available with this tablet. Thank you

Hi mate.
I have just purchased 2 of the amazon kids 8 Pro for my 5 year old twins, this is the 1st tablet they have ever been on and I didn't even want one at this age but I have had my arm twisted.
I do not want then to be able to search for any content other than what I place on the tablets home screen.
I don't want them to be able to view any tiles to videos or Web browser or anything at all.
I want there home page absolutely blank other than the 1 or 2 things I select for them to.use.
Can this be done?
If so a video would be great.

It will. The only difference between the "adult" version and the "kid" version is that the kid version has a case, and a £70 a year subscription, both of which can be brought seperately.
does it automatically detect the SD card for downloading once the original memory is full?
and does the tablet need wifi when on the go? like for the downloaded games?
Are the games as good as as Google downloads range. And in regards to TH-cam kids are all videos downloaded or streamed?
How is the volume? We just returned a Contixo tablet. One of the main reasons was because the volume wasn't good. Thanks!!

Can anyone tell me how you can stop the child downloading content through their profile as everytime my child clicks on a Tv show or game etc it starts downloading? How do you stop this?

No I haven't come across a feature like this on there

With the Kids Content do you have to be connected to wifi ? Or do they have access to applications and games while on car with no wifi????
So there are some games you can play without Wi-Fi and you can download video content to play without Wi-Fi, I’ve done this with Netflix content for plane travel with my kids. Some games won’t work without Wi-Fi so my advice is to pick what you want your kid to use when they don’t have Wi-Fi and double check it’s working, switch the internet off the tablet, before leaving the house.

Can you block the tv shows and movies on the the tablet?
Someone please help me understand this tablet. It has so many things "on" it but anytime my son tries to use anything it's just "downloading " non stop. Am I doing this right??
It can take a while with a download. I suggest waiting for them to complete one at a time. If it’s still frozen then switch it off and back on again and start downloads one at a time.

After the free year is over would I have to pay for each child’s Amazon kids profiles?
Yes once the free year is up you’re charged per child to keep access to Amazon kids. If you don’t pay, you can still use the tablet, you just won’t get the games, books, videos etc. you could still use apps like Netflix and Disney.

Thank you so much for this video. Can you add youtube videos to their watch list? We’re bilingual and he has some videos that he watches in our other language but he also loves watching opera so I would love add the things he loves.
Also, could you edit the programs already on their for a certain age. Say, for example you’re not ready to have your child to watch one of the shows already on their Could you remove it?

Two of them for each of your girls, so you bought four? why do they need two each?
The kids originally had the non pro, used those for a couple of years, then I upgraded them to pro to unlock the extra games and features
