@julianzolo I was talking about the movie called "Interstellar". I'm not sure that people who fall in the rabid cult of MCU or DCEU fantards have the intellectual abilities to understand that there are even better movies than the shallow and immoral and unrealistic movies they are composed of. You are apparently one of those who can just think of The Batman Trilogy when the name of Nolan is mentioned. Well that's alright. Because deep down even you know that MCU will certainly never make such a psychological thriller in its entire run. Funny thing, even Sam Jackson agrees that MCU is nothing so special to deserve the unjustified attention it gets. The Hitman's Bodyguard is more fun than any of the MCU movies. And well don't worry I'm not triggered but just laying down facts. Popularity doesn't imply good quality. But I don't think you will understand this anytime sooner.
Nolan's way of storytelling can be copied but no one can copy speilberg , Scorsese or Kubrick because if one is cautious enough he can surely observe how Nolan uses cross cutting and small jump cuts to fool the audience like he did on prestige and memento...i like his style so i wrote my screenplay by studying his films Nolan generally makes his films for brains using non linear way of saying a story in order to build suspense but..just look at how speilberg made Saving private Ryan and Schindler's list without any kind of nonlinearity..it's still heartbreaking to see the characters suffering...i don't know how you study or watch a film but i said what i realized.

I met this filmmaker years ago in LA. Amazing !!!!
I find it funny when people say Zack Snyder is a better director than Nolan. Snyder doesn’t even have a track record like Nolan. Snyder is a “Style over substance”, but Nolan has “Style and substance”. He’s one of the few directors that has his own style and doesn’t try to stuff everything into one movie. @Sandeep Mehta I will, thanks 🙂
Now that's the kind of videos I love watching
Now, we need video on whats inside your mind.
But you really did some real research.
Appreciate it.
it really be like that
You know, with Nolan's character driven storytelling style, I reckon he'd make a great DM.
DM?
@@danielabraham5901 Dungeon Master (or Games Master) for ttrpgs like Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder or the various World of Darkness lines. His character centric story style is great for RPGs.
Very nice job on this one!
I really want to see Christopher Nolan make a horror movie!!!
My favorite films are interstellar and prestige coz I have only watched that films yet.
Also do make a video on James Cameron
this man is an amazing human being..he is so smart and hios movies are so inspiring and makes you think a lot...
How long did this video take to make start to finish? Just curious as I am thinking about making a video like this.
a talented editor could take this from script to final in about a week, aka 50 or 60 hours, maybe even less.. given every shot is preexisting, it just becomes an exercise of illustrating the narration with clips
Well done showing every detail of his art , that very rely on humans nature and lies we are deceived by, you missed the complicated science tho
The dark knight is my favourite Christopher Nolan film, however I am going to bingeing a lot more so that may change.
Please do one on Edgar Wright next :)
He is greatest director of all time
@Terry Malloy its subjective

I cried ...
Best movie director ever
@Terry Malloy yes
Not yet
Can't wait for TENET
31:27 - 32:09 : I'm not crying, you are.
1. The Dark Night
2. Interstellar
3. Inception
4. Dunkirk
5. The Prestige
6. Batman Begins
7. Insomnia
8. Memento
9. The Dark Night Rises
10. Following
Wow, what a great analysis! Respect
If they make a Die Hard 6, this guy must direct it.
He should consider helming an adapted screenplay of the labyrinthine, "El Sombra del Viento" (The Shadow of The Wind), by Spanish author, Carlos Ruiz Zafón. I think that would be, tonally, somewhere between the gothic-scenescapes of The Prestige and the haunting claustrophobia of Insomnia and Dunkirk/Interstellar.
Incredible mini documentary
i haven't seen the dark knight trilogy yet, but here's my list of nolan movies from my most favorite to my least favorite:
1. Inception
2. Memento
3. Dunkirk
4. The Prestige
5. Following
6. Interstellar
7. Insomnia
Nolan NEEDS to make a VADER movie
Does anybody else noticed a big mistake in the ending of Dunkirk (13:15)? The whole city in the background isn't from 1940, it's just a normal town from nowadays....
How do you reconcile your comment "Christopher Nolan rejects the 3 act structure" with the 3 act structure of The Prestige?
31:20: Tenet: Psycho Action Thriller featuring Michael Caine. Of Course.
Movie is more than entertainment.
True.
It's an artform.
Now this is gonna be interesting!😄
I can’t wait for his new movie called TENET!
Great video 👍🏽
Memento is for me the best movie of all time
For me it's Inception :)
COOL MOVIES AND COOL DIRECTOR
Really enjoyed this, thank you!
The dark knight, inception and interestellar are in top 20 movies ever
best christopher nolan movie is no doubt memento
