    Working out of a starting otr company I made about 1k each week. Working with a flatbed company I can make around 1.5k while hauling less loads. Also the percentage pay isn't that bad. Though I wish my company had a cpm option like ats. But I also get to be home almost every week so. Gotta give and take I guess.

    I started Melton Truck Lines about the same time you started at ATS and you’ve made almost $10,000 more than me I need to come to a ATS

      melton is starting company,, of course they gonna rob u ,, u get your exp and bounce to better paying companies all u need is 6 months fb exp

    I had to put my move to flatbed on hold. My blood pressure has gone up a concerning amount, so I'm staying with Werner for at least another 3 months so I have health insurance while I get this back under control.

    Appreciate the info bro! I’m a rookie driver with swift doing dry van and i’ve been netting just over/under 1k a week which is decent but still not enough in my eyes. I’ve been trying to figure out what other part of the industry to get into some better money and it looks like flatbedding is the way

      If you have more than year of experience in trucking my carrier XPO depending what state your in for me in Cali we a getting paid 37.15 and after 8hours time and a half is 55.34 an hour and if your doing linehual it’s 85CPM local and bring in home weekly 1200-1300 on slow weeks but you need all endorsement but A endorsement is not an issue with my company we are replacing all 10 speeds already home daily no OTR for shitty pay

    I’m only at 3 months but I think when I hit 6 to see if ats will take me . Pretty good money, I thought they had a weekly minimum of like 1450 guaranteed

      I’m still looking and yea they do but it’s only for the first 3 months I believe though get whatever you didn’t make the first week of the following months it’s a bit confusing

      No I didn’t that’s when I took about a week or so off, it was either coming out of home time on a Friday or Saturday

      @@210Truckiinn thats what i thought,, low pay checks is when u go home,, stay out and make money man u gonna get older and regret it,, grind and save money u need to get that 2k a week consistantly,, and save to get our own truck and company,, going home often isnt good

      No trainer once you finish orientation you good to go on your own

    So I wonder why they let you pass through orientation but when I went there Last april the sent me home after 3 days. Anyways, I've since applied no less than 12 times since then, and I left wagner trucking the tuesday after memorial day because I was getting sicn and tired of the hostile work enviroment. Ive been driving for 7 years now.

    That’s excellent money bro! I started at Werner as well then moved to variant/usxpress and the difference is night and day! This definitely motivated me to move on to flat beds possibly with ats. I only have about 4 months otr experience tho. Do you think they would consider that enough experience?😅

    flat to dry van is a false comparison. you can make same numbers doing dry van and not need to tarp and strap, Ive done it. Lanes, company and market. truth is as a driver most the time you are at the mercy of all 3.

      Honestly couldn’t tell you exactly I can’t remember but when I was there I never ran that many miles maybe like 2,500 miles

      Facts, I get paid 2300 a week, only sleep in the truck like twice and week and off weekends, only drive like 2000 miles a week tops. Tanker companies charge alot for there loads so there not starving and don't gotta run there employees into the ground. I love running tanker.

    why the hell u had 400$ checks???? u went home? and u only have like one check a month over 2k?? why it s not consistent 2k each week ??? i dont get it,, get ur experience and b on ur own boss , or there are way better companies where u can get easy 2.5k a week or more doing stepdeck or rgn 3k a week,, stay away from these a holes mega carriers,, 2022 market was hot u could ve done way better,,i did household and made 12k to 15k a month net,, household is a special niche stressful but great money.. now it s slower,,
