It was quite the oddity as someone who took a hit from Ida watching the Northeast get absolutely screwed by it days later. Apparently it was only a few inches of rain but since the water had nowhere to go naturally it turned into devastating floods.
I was in Connecticut during Tropical Storm Isias and a flash flood emergency was issued, All of my televisions my iPhone and clock radio were going crazy!
