I am a psychiatrist and have children who are university graduates. All were schooled through the regular school system. After 27 years of experience with the regular school system and also my professional experience, I can say this hand on heart that SAHIL ADEEM IS 💯 PERCENT RIGHT.
anxiety, depression, substance abuse, gender dysphoria etc all stem from childhood trauma …. Most of which is from school.
My advice to my children would be to give their children a happy, stable family life and to homeschool them.

Kids get these things moslty from their home toxic environment school & friends are the only escape plan for them where they find peace. Parenting, nourishing/nurturing & kids personality matter most
I'm an educator and can NOT imagine going back into schools. It was so sad because I love teaching...and loved being a part of a child's growth. I ended up creating my own online kindergarten to help those taking this important step forward with homeschooling or alternatives. We can do it, together! :)

میں بھی کچھ دنوں سے یہ سوچ رہی تھی کہ اس تعلیمی نظام سے ہمیں ہمارے بچوں کو ملانا ہوگا۔ہمارے لوگ بہت ذہین ہیں ہمارے بچے بہت ذہین ہیں۔لیکن اس تباہی کن تعلیمی نظام میں اپنے بچوں کو ڈال کر گدھا بنا دیتے ہیں ۔کتنے ہی صلاح الدین کتنے ہی عمر رضہ اور کتنے ہی علیہ السلام ہیں ہمارے پاس لیکن ہم اندھوں کی طرح نمبروں پوزیشنوں اور انگریزی کی دوڑ میں اپنے بچوں کو بھگا رہے ہیں ان سے حقیقت کو دور کیا ہوا ہے۔
ہمیں اس نظام کو بدلنا ہوگا۔

i already did last month now they came to office and i will do him office schooling. they are about 13 year and 11 year
Raising 4 kids and Alhamdolilah they pray 5 times a day leaening arabic and deen and also studying good in school college and university. Doesnt matter where your child go my personal experience is give them good tarbiat teach them the good and bad what to accept and what not to accept. Every child has different skills . We shouldn’t make general level people life difficult who send children school. Any child can be successful doesn’t matter if he is homeschooling or going school. Living in UK i think he s making lower and middle class families life difficult.

I hope we have joint family system. Belive me it’s more easy to do homeschool if you have a little pair of hands.
But it’s a reality home school work better for education and deen too.

I plan to homeschool too. I have been teaching for 14 years. You can do several activities with your kids. I am thinking to teach her boxing, painting, cycling, hiking , swimming and what not other then academics. And insha Allah my focus is to teach academics through Quran

I appreciate this idea of homeschooling but till which year or which class we should get our kids homechooled. Also in universities they require matric certificate or gcse equivalency soo for that what should we do?

You can make them privately appear in matric and fsc exams.
Yes one can easily appear in O A levels and Fsc, matric privately or thru a school before exams. You can save up all the exorbitant fees of schooling, and invest in university studies. Homeschooling is more of a conscious parenting, it teaches and makes everyone a better person, its not school at home, it's the right way to learn with good moral and intelligent brought up.
Where do you need degree? A marriage doesn't need a degree. Islam Doesn't needs a degree. So why are you running towards a degree?

Daily how much time is required for online/ home schooling?
I'm not sure about the school times in Pak but in the UK the total hours a child is learning at school is 3.5 hours...so if you spend 3 hours throughout the day it would be enough
