I love nicaragua, it’s raw and authentic. I think it still keeps its Nicaraguan way of life very authentic without being spoiled by mass tourism. I spent two nights in Ometepe and it wasn’t enough. I had to spend one whole afternoon on a hammock relaxing due to the hit. 38 degrees in April, the hottest month in Nicaragua. I hope one day Ill be able to go back.
I'm happy to watching y'all videos of every trip but more is seeing my Beautifull Nicaragua🇳🇮 and that delightful feelings to know that y'all enjoy knowing Nicaragua❤.!! Y'all always will be welcome in our country❤
Thank you for visiting Nicaragua. That is my native and lovely country. I live in USA and your videos gave me very good tips for my next vacation to Nicaragua. Thank you. I love all the videos you made at my country!!!
That was very good. A lot of effort went into it. Tyler has an amazing repertoire of good tunes. Short & sweet, entertaining, informative & educational. You guys are on top of it!
Last time I was in Nicaragua was in 2003 visited San Juan del sur, the Volcano cero Negro, and Montelimar beach resort...never visited Ometepe island..nice video
@@GrowingUpWithoutBorders well from looking at the video specifically San Juan del sur yes I noticed more restaurants and luxury residential areas mostly on the hillsides.
Your family makes excellent videos! And the music quality and appropriateness of it is mostly perfect! Great job. What many of us would probably like to Know is, what have been your favorite places to visit, and which place would you pick to live for a few years, all things considered? Thank you!
Love watching your shows. Very educational to learn about other countries. . From Illinois, few hours from cold Midwest Chicago, and not far from Iowa... Never been out of the country unfortunately...
Ah...that’s awesome that you’re enjoying the videos. Let us know if there’s anything else you’d like to see in them or for us to cover while were there.
My Beautiful "Paisito" as we like to call it, I visited Ometepe after years of living in the states, it was a random trip with no concrete plan , well except for the part of going to Ojo de agua. Ometepe is like what the locals likes to call their home island *"a Peaceful Oasis"*
Ometepe looks like an amazing place to visit - so unique having those two volcanoes! We were considering riding out the covid pandemic on Ometepe as we were in Nicaragua when borders started closing. We ended up deciding to stay in Granada Nicaragua as it would be easier to get to a hospital or get to the airport if needed. Glad we didn't have to contend with that itchy itchy plant!
Having traveled through Central America with my own fair-skinned children (years ago now), I have to admit that seeing the girls on the ferry was causing me some anxiety as to whether they had remembered to put on enough sunscreen - an HOUR in that sun and wind! You're amazing parents to be providing these experiences, and I'm impressed that Chantal wears black in that heat!

I guess you would recommend a couple of days minimum on the island?? My wife and I will have three weeks coming up in late Feb. Was thinking of Costa Rica with Nicaragua add-on.
Not at all. I was worried before we planned the trip back last April after hearing everything that was going on. We were there in Dec/Jan and it was completely fine.

Cool Vid!
Thanks!
Looks amazing! Did you have any concerns travelling there with the current unrest?
Not at all. I was worried before we planned the trip back last April after hearing everything that was going on. We were there in Dec/Jan and it was completely fine.
what unrest? there is no unrest in Nicaragua, only the one that was invented for fake news.
Ronaldo Sanchez so all the killings was fake news??

Thanks for the encouragement!
Really beautiful place, but please don't hike up any active volcanoes. One of my favorite channels on TH-cam.
We’re careful 🙌🤩💕
Come to trabzon 🇹🇷🇹🇷😀
We'd love to come back again. Last time we were there was back in 2014.
@@GrowingUpWithoutBorders Herzaman bekliyoruz
the volcano takes 6 hours to hike all the way down and up wow it must be worth it though
+wizkhalifa 080103 Yeah, it must be quite the hike up.
Cute Family
Out of all the countries you have visited... which is the most memorable for you guys?
It was Nicaragua. 😂😂😂 We loved it there in San Juan del Sur!!!
@@GrowingUpWithoutBorders how cool is that... Awesome
Pica pica does sound horrible! 😱
😂😂😂Yeah, thank God it's only certain times of the year.
