The sun dial used to be a helicopter pad. They used to do helicopter tours from the top of pirates cove.
Awesome with those classic names on the rollercoasters 🎢 😊
When I was younger, I once rode a wooden coaster with wooden tracks and not-so-great padding. My back was sore for at least the rest of the day. I never rode that one again until it was torn out/rebuilt and had steel rails, to the point of waiting for friends/family that rode it.
It's nice to know that more pure wood coasters share that trait.
They opened their doors in 1984. I'm glad you got to have fun and do some touristy stuff! I do love my town and am glad to see others enjoy it as well. If you haven't been on a duck ride, next time you are in the area you should definitely go! There is also a new golf course in downtown dells, not sure if you saw it or not, but Yeti Yard is new as of last year.
We stayed at this resort a few years ago on New Years Day after a 6 inch snow fall. The indoor stuff there is more than enough for a few days, although it was very cold if you had wet clothes walking around.
We were just in the dells over the weekend!! The wilderness is a great place. Lots to do there. So much to do in the dells, hard to hit everything in one trip!
My hair also eats my glasses😂😂😂 I'm glad I'm not alone with that. Loving these videos!
Love the Dells. Used to go there all the time as a kid.
Saw my first Cybertruck last week driving home from work on the freeway, ironically in Wisconsin, I swear they are the goofiest looking things ever.
This vid is what we all did this week lol. Same hotel, kiddo fed the duckies right by that Waterpark, played the black light golf, had food at grateful shed. And played the black course at timber falls this morning before we left. Glad ya had fun!
Love this area of Wisconsin
Thanks, Brooks for showing the extra and between action of the golf sessions. These are interesting and enjoyable. The roller coasters are also something I leave for the younger ones :)
I loved leaving the duck on the truck with all the other ducks in the window.
Ive been on all of the roller coasters at mt. Olympus and hades 360 is my favorite one. Mt. Olympus us one of my favorite places to go to. Fun experience
The dells used to be our every year family vacation growing up. (Couldn’t afford Disney) maybe as a young kid I didn’t know any better but now as an adult the Dells has lost its magic. Especially when you compare it to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg or Branson. Now it’s just water park resorts, mt Olympus bought up EVERYTHING down that main strip. Idk it just doesn’t feel the same anymore.
It always make me so happy to see you guys just having fun. Thank you so much for all you do for us Brooks and Elisha. I love your videos!
😊
Elisha looks about 110% done with being there at the end lol.
LOL Hawk Tuah on the banana... Sorry couldnt resist.
Classic Iron Shiek response.😅 Love it.
Welcome to my home state! If you love mini golf and water parks, you’ll love the delis! Gets packed at times though. Hopefully you rode the ducks while there?
I’m hoping you plan on doing behind the scenes of the mini golf in Myrtle Beach SC just like this video on this travels channel but this video will be with the parents which will be even better.
We have a few videos from mini golf courses around the Dells on our channel! You inspired us to do mini golf videos
Used to go to the dells every summer as a kid and pirates cove has been one of my favorite places ever since. I don’t know its history exactly but I’m fairly certain the Captain Hook course was new in one of those years but i could be wrong. (This is like late 90s to early 2000s that I’m talking about)
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen y’all’s videos. Great to see you’re doing amazing and happy with the clown
You need to do a New England road trip because that’s one major region along the east coast that you two have not yet made a single video on yet.
U guys should do a New England roadtrip!
@Brooks and @Elisha: im 43 and will be 44 in Mid August. My ride tollarance has changed quite a bit even since 2019.
Beem gling to Canada's Wonderland much less since then.
Yup, plenty of ouches and owies even after wooden coasters as well as inverts, loopies and others.
Yeti Yard is fun but kind of repetitive. Puttheads is pretty awesome and it’s indoors inside Knuckleheads
Just wanted to share that I am watching this on my new surface pro and the resolution is fantastic
Have fun you guys.
Looks fun.keep up the good work😊
That Pirate's Cove originally had just 3 courses. The two courses farther up on top were constructed-i believe-in the early 90's. Prior to that the land was largely wild except for the helicopter pad that others have mentioned.
Just an FYI - At Timber Falls, they used to have a great little coaster called “Avalanche”. It went around the property twice. Best coaster in the Dells. Short but sweet!! Due to the airtime, we called it “Avalaunch”! Look up the POV’s!
I wish I could’ve ridden it! Heard great things about it
Looks like such a fun place to visit. Thanks for another great vlog.
It is a great place to spend a vacation, however it is outrageously expensive, but then again so is life now.
The Mt Olympus coasters are fun, but man do they mess you up. Only been on them once, and that was more than enough for me.
Same lol
Not my jeep, but I love getting ducks on mine.
I'm in my 59es and did Hades 360.
i know the sundial was once a helicopter landing area for when they did helicopter tours. I hope you did enjoy your time in the dells
When I worked at Wilderness it was a 1/4 mile long and its easily doubled in size.
Them smaller 2 coasters are pretty rough, I speak from experience
Elisha glasses liked her hair 😅😅
It's kind of funny because Indy hasn't hit 90 again since you were here.
Awesome video
If you come to Texas checkout the The Texas Giant and the Texas Skyscreamer along with the Mine Train
Yeti yard Wisconsin dells WI is another real good course this course is like a mini version of popstroke
4:35 try spending a weekened there for vacation you will really get your steps in stuff is so spread out half way through the day when i was younger at like 1pm my mom already said she had like 15k steps...thats from what i remember you will get tired its a lot
When you mentioned feels like florida humidity i was relieved i always thought I was crazy for thinking our humidity was bad but others talk about florida like im pretty sure ours is just as bad not worse but right there
1) If there isn't a chance of rain are you really in Wisconsin Dells? 2) The sundial at pirates cove used to be a helipad for helicopter tours.

Go to glow park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Elisha and animals😊.
👍👍
Are any of the Wisconsin Dells WI courses are gonna come out in mini golf birthday month this month/year?
Hi
So what I got put of this video: Elisha likes to eat bananas and Brooks likes things rough 😂
I wish I could moan about the heat but alas I live in Scotland lol
Well Elisha really, really, really likes bananas. Sorry Elisha, Brooks you lucky man.
I know it a lot of work you should make a TH-cam channel with go carts or extra for food or arcade call it brooks holt extra
Anybody listening to Brooks or just watching Elisha eat a banana ?
I honestly have no idea what he said. I wish I was a better human, but I guess not.
Poor Elisha having to read these comments. You dont have to talk about her like she is a sex object. Gross.
So u r too old for riding roller coasters in ur 30’s……….wait til ur in ur 40’s and then go ride a roller coaster!!!
Sorry Brook, I didn’t hear a word you said. I’m sure you understand why!🫣
