The 1970s were hard times man, strikes. No heating. Only coal. No electricity im not sure id be in any rush to go back to the 70s until 1979 perhaps when times seemed to be changing for the better.
The mens suits in the C&A advert were very flattering/stylish with their James Bond look. And was that Charles Dance (sandy haired actor) in the sherry advert?

KP Peanuts, Maxwell House Coffee, Findus Beef Curry, Bovril & Kellogg's Corn Flakes were among the adverts.
I was 13 14 in 1976 1977 and the TV ads were much much more interesting than the ads we have today.
We actually watched ads in the 70s some were quite catchy and entertaining.
What an era.. so miss those days 😢

The Brooke Bond Cuppa D ad was filmed at the same prison gates used in "Porridge" (St Albans Registry Office... which was a former Jail)
