2020 was a rough year for many of us, and although I mostly put on a good front for TH-cam...the reality is, it was a very sad year for me. But happiness is a choice! So for 2021, I'm embarking on a virtuous quest across the land, to defeat the dastardly devil who stole my sunshine...and get my happy back!

I am an aging widower who shed many tears after losing my one and only true love after 58 years. Somehow your videos connect with my soul, although there is not an ounce of hippie in me. One might say that we all share membership in the human race. Wishing you peace.
2020 was a life-sucking, mentally changing year - I don't know anyone who wasn't affected in some way by all of the changes. Talk about getting thrown into the deep end of a pool without a life jacket. Thank you so much for carrying us throughout this past year. We are all here for you - no matter how big or small the issue is, we will steadfastly support you. Feel free to vent any time - what are friends for? Hope the new year brings nothing but the best for you - wonderful things for our Wonderhussy.

I'm 76 years old and a die-hard optimist. Don't change, you are fine as you are. Also shedding tears washes out toxic chemicals from your system, which is why you feel better afterward.
My aunt died very suddenly on Dec. 28. She had been in excellent health, hiking in the desert the week before. She was the last wise relative that I had. I was already in a long-term funk before this happened, so this added to it greatly. Fortunately, I have property and a lot of landscaping to maintain. It forces me outside, and the work becomes meditative. I can afford coffee, food, and health insurance, so I'm very well-off indeed! I guess I'm trying to say that it's hard to justify being sad when I'm so blessed. Maybe some of our emotions are independent of our human condition. Anyway, Happy 2021 to all!
This may have been the most meaningful half hour I've spent on TH-cam. The way you address the camera as though you are speaking to a single person, makes for an intimate experience for your viewer. A lot of vloggers miss this important aspect.

one positive thing about depression is this, your sensitive and intelligent(95% the root of depression). Yes plenty of bright people don't get depressed. What I learned is, there are massive problems in the world (2020 proved this), your bright and sensitive enough to know this deeply (deep,deep).....just knowing what bothers you is the victory, even though very often you can do nothing about it!

A famous guitarist has ALS and he juices which helped cease his ALS symptoms. He wishes he did it much earlier, before he was bed ridden. (His name is Jason Becker- there is a documentary about this.)

2020 was my most difficult year ever, despite being able to keep my job via remote work. I have never cried as much in my entire life as this past year. Your content, especially this episode, touched my soul deeply. We are kindred spirits is ways you could not possibly imagine.

Try not to depend on anyone to make you happy. Happiness needs to come from within. Everything and everyone else is a bonus. That way you are not as likely to be let down when things don't go the way you had hoped. I love listening to you. Whether it be your adventures or your daily struggles. I am a good listener if you need one, anytime.
I actually appreciate a realistic rant every now and then.. Seeing someone positive ALL the time is unrealistic and can sometimes make me question my own unhappiness.
