This was the first song I ever performed for an audience of more than my family. I was in Year 2, and I performed it solo for the school talent show lol. I remember afterwards my teacher got me to stand up in front of the class while she gave some big long speech about how amazing it was that someone as shy as I was (I was basically FLUTTERSHY LEVEL back then it was really bad) could get up in front of a crowd and sing. It was pretty awkward but since then, I’ve gone on to pursue music and am no longer as painfully reserved. Honestly, I thank mlp for all of that. I genuinely would not be the person I am today if it wasn’t for the show, and I might be exaggerating a little, but even this song.

I love the piano at the beginning. I think it really suits Twilight, like weirdly I can imagine her just playing it when she's upset.
