this is my all time favorit director ...full of emotion ,empathy and altruism...almost every scene reflects his love for a little man and deep understanding for social problems... u can cut every scene and took it as a masterpiece of photography....simply the best

Tylu mędrców , tylu ,,krytyków filmowych,, tylu mądralińskich ... Tym czasem nikt z nich nie zapamiętał ( pewnie nie znał tej pozycji . Cóż należałoby teraz powiedzieć ... - Wstyd ! To dobre słowo.

I saw this film one late night in London at the now-demolished Paris Pullman Theater. It was my intro to De Sica films.
