Gun owner here. Tarkov's sounds are slightly more accurate, but the audio isn't mixed accurate. Like there's the right echo, right sound effect, but not enough bass and a little too quiet. However, EFT's M4A1 sound is utter shit. It's a lot beefier. It also lacks that hollow boom sound the AR platform emits with the bird cage.
I feel like you added the “animation variety” part to make it a tie. You know COD destroyed it here. COD’s animations are on another planet entirely, and the sounds are much better. And the graphics/attention to detail is unmatched. EFT does have the more accurate models because COD is avoiding copyright infringement since they don’t use the licenses anymore. But regardless, COD cleared handily here.
The only thing I think COD does better than EFT is the depiction and controlling of the recoil. For EFT, I don’t like how the recoil only drifts upward with no backwards impact that you’d get from recoil springs. And the way the character controls the guns, feels as though they’re just lightly holding them. Like an untrained beginner shooter using an automatic weapon for the first time without proper control. And the gun goes all over the place.
How come the EFT animations look so fast? Is it because theres a tactical reload feature in EFT like Insurgency has? As I’ve seen other peoples videos and I swear the reloads were much slower
I only play Tarkov, and while I believe the detail in the games outperforms everything in MWIII, I got to hand it to the animators in MWIII. The quality of the animations themselves are far better than Tarkov. Tarkov is much more stiff, less fluid and more robotic than MWIII, albeit it has way more animations.
Tarkov pretty much gets dogwalked by Mw3 except for weapon detail/models, which isn't Sledgehammer/Infinity Ward's fault as California laws make it difficult.
Call of Duty has always had this weird thing with thumbs on the first-person left-hand model, like it's curled or scrunched up or something, sometimes with a gap or hole that you can see through the thumb. And they've been doing this since the Call of Duty 4 days. And I HATE IT!!!

Yeah, they are FINALLY fixing this stupid recoil for the next wipe, which is something people have been asking for litteral years
