      @Leyrann ปีที่แล้ว +136

      He acts simplistic a lot of the time (no doubt in part for content), but if you take a closer look you can easily see he has a very sharp intelligence underneath that. Not everyone can make and stay Challenger for many years, or do it in every role on demand, and he clearly has good entertainment and business sense based on both his own projects and his appearances on Riot broadcasts and the like.
      It's hilarious to imagine Tyler1 playing (and raging about, no doubt) chess, but I'm not actually _surprised_ that he's improving quickly, and as Levy points out in the video, he has good potential. If chess is his new addiction, replacing League, well, I'm gonna say he'll get to 2000 elo at _least,_ assuming he puts some time into theory (and he's already putting time into puzzles so there's a good chance he will), and on top of that if he gets mad and start trolling/inting, unlike in League he won't be griefing anyone else, so that's a plus too.
      I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next in this saga.

    This is what happens when competitive gamers play chess. As a gamer we are gonna play video games 50-60 hours a week easy. We research guides, builds, theory on the games we play. Engage the forums. Now divert that too chess and this is what you get. I don't really think 2,000 rapid games in 2 months is even crazy that is just normal gameplay. It's only 30 ish games a day. You can do that and still play video games on the side for 6+ hours. This is just gamer mentality and if they are competitive gamers well the transition is very good.

    For those who don't know Tyler - he did a challenge for his main game League of Legends, where he went to Europe for a month and a half to play in European servers.
