Good morning Dennis! ☀Thank you so much, I appreciate it!

Thank you friend! If you get a bunch of notifications that I hearted your comments, I'm just going through my list of comments TH-cam says I didn't reply to. Just trying to clean up that list.
@@antiquingadventures that can be extremely time-consuming.
These are all comments from when I first started my channel. I guess clicking like doesn't count as a response, so if I heart comments that seems to take them off that list. It's one of those things that's not a big deal but it just annoys me to see that list of things that I supposedly didn't do! 😂

Thank you!
40 yrs ago, my husband was going to a flea market in Houston. I told him to find a cheap set of dishes for our family of 5 so I could put my good dishes up.
He came home with a large box of glass dishes, setting for 8. The only pieces missing was cereal bowls.
The glass looked familiar but I couldn’t place it. Finally on back of the platter I found PYREX!
Still have them - don’t know if they’re valuable, but they bring back a lot of memories of our young family
That's a great find! Love that you have good family memories attached. 😊
Good afternoon friend. Playlist time.
Thanks Dennis!

Thanks, friend! I really appreciate that!
I have the primary bowl set. My Mom got it at a Garage Sale for $1.00! My husband put the red one in the dishwasher and it looked like the one you showed. But luckily I found one at a Goodwill! I love Pyrex!
$1, that's amazing! 😮 That's great that you found a red bowl to replace the one that was damaged. I'm getting ready to go to a Pyrex swap meet next month and will be making a video about it, so stay tuned for that! 😊
Boondocking with Dennis has sent me to your channel. Thanks dennis

I like them all Square red ones one of my favorite
I like them all too! I think that's what makes it hard for some people to stop collecting because all the patterns are so fun!

Yes been collecting for 15 years hopefully have the whole 150 patterns in s couple more years dont use barkeepers on outside of pyrex it will remove paint
That's quite a collection! Yes, it's sad how many people use an abrasive and ruin these lovely dishes. 😢
@@antiquingadventures I worked at the place that makes barkeepers friend great cleanser but not for pyrex everyone asks if I'll sell my pyrex nope hoarding it til I die goes to my neice next

Good morning my my seventh most watched channel😂
TH-cam tells me 100% of my viewers are males between the ages of 55 and 65. So apparently you are the only one watching, lol! 😂 Of course I know that's not really true but it's funny that TH-cam has captured that. I actually expect to hit 100 subscribers in the next day or two! 🎉🙌🏻

That is good friend. You make excellent videos and more people should see them. When I first saw the word antiques, I thought it was going to be old furniture but I really enjoy the items you choose to show. Not that I have anything against old furniture. I do know that many women will select the male option on TH-cam so they're not harassed by people
Oh, that's interesting about the gender demographics. And thank you for your kind words. I enjoy making the videos, and it's fun to share my curiosity about antiques. 😊
Good afternoon Jennifer🎉
Love your dishes ❤❤
Thank you! 😊 The ones I have are special. But Pyrex can be like potato chips...it's hard to stop once you've started!

Good afternoon. A new Pyrex was a good product, but I never knew they were collected. Interesting.🎉
They are really hot right now, and the more popular pieces go for quite a lot!
💘💙💘💙💘💙💘💙💘
Maybe a dumb question. But what makes pyrex different from any other cooking material? Every now and then my older neighbor is cooking and sends her pyrex "thing". I have to admit I had to Google it. 😂
That's a good question! I'm not sure about that, but I did find that older Pyrex was made with borosilicate glass, which is shatterproof and can more easily go from hot to cold without breaking. But newer Pyrex is not made with the same glass so it's not shatterproof in that way. An easy way to tell the difference is how the word Pyrex is written. If it's in all caps it's older Pyrex and should be more shatterproof. If it's in all small letters it's the newer kind. So that doesn't really answer your question, other than I'm not sure if other bakeware was ever made with shatterproof glass. 🤔
@@antiquingadventures thanks anyway. Pyrex reminds me of my younger days and still looks nice. Looking nice and useful. What more can a household item wish for ?
Where was this place u saw all the pyrex
Cottage Antiques in Coal Valley, IL 😊
