Hi Marty! Great lesson, I've been following you for some time now and you and your teaching style is really good. I was wondering if you could please do the Seven Nation Army solo. Thanks!
Hello Marty, like your guitar. Is that your new Taylor? Haven't seen any other videos with it. Anyhow, really like your new channel and as a beginner guitar player I follow your lessons. You make learning fun. I like your personality.....Thanks :)
Hey marty you're an extremely good teacher i've just begun to play the guitar and you've already taught me so much thank you for that. Btw i'd really like to see Maggot brain by funkadelic one day :). Keep up the good work
I would love if you taught us how to play Peace Frog by The Doors. I know this request has nothing to do with this lesson but I listened to Peace frog today and want to know how to play it
Sweet! Love this man! Oddly enough it was Jerry Garcia that got me into bluegrass. Many of the bands that I listen to these days incorporate bluegrass such as Yonder Mountain String Band, Railroad Earth etc. For years I never knew what to really call these bands as far as genre. Then the term Americana popped up to describe many of these bands. I love this genre because it is so diverse and there are so many great bands that experiment with different instruments and styles. Marty, would be interested to hear your thoughts on this genre as it applies to guitar playing and if it has brought about some things unique to its style. Bluegrass certainly has its specific "runs" that make it bluegrass. But what makes Americana? Good question right? Would be great to see some lessons on songs from some of these bands if you are familiar with any of them. Are you familiar with Jeb Puryear of Donna the Buffalo? Very unique guitar style. Some good songs to cover with them for sure. More bluegrass would be cool too. Now that I have made a hundred request, I will shut up LOL! Whatever you do is cool Marty. Thanks a million!
pretty much all i know on my guitar is because of you! could you please do some pearl jam. Or audioslave or some soundgarden in honor of chris cornell, or PLEASE reptilia or under cover of darkness by the strokes☺ thanks, ROCK ON!
Hey Marty, love the lesson, but I'm not getting what the scale is the you riff on at 05:14. Think you play 4th fret on high E, but that isn't part of Gmaj scale, is it?
great video thanks alot. I was wondering if there is a way to stop your amp from ringing when u turn it up loud with distortion and if there is could you make a video on how to get rid of it?
Please do a tutorial on that's what i like by Bruno Mars ; great song. BTW, thanks for all the free lessons, I really appreciate it and I bet all your other fans do to. Ty.
Ed Churchill but if you want just the chords, not actually how the song is played on electric (not that easy to do right) the chords are Am, F, C, G all the way through
