Seasons should stay on. Going with the more realistic vintage it makes sense. It’s a struggle. One field until you can afford more. Contracts in between to raise the money.
I would leave seasons on and if possible find a winter crop which will combine with a summer crop so you can have 2 harvests a year.
The trailer situation is exactly what I had in mind when I said upgrades must be bought outright.
Keep a close eye on the monthly payments for leased equipment.
Love that barn, it really does fit well.
I envision a future where the whole starting area will become barns & productions and you will be growing crops in other fields.
@@unclegreybeard3969 what winter crop would you recommend? I think if I can get another couple of fields purchased that may help too.
Yeah so far the monthly lease payments havent been an issue, but with 5 new items this month including the combine that could soon catch me out you are right 👍
First time in ages I switched seasons off. I found I can get on faster.
Great episode mate wood was the better choice for the chicken coop and I can see everyone ells saying keep seasons on so I am hopping you listen to them as you seem very good like that and listen to your viewers will soon fined out lol keep up good work,
I think the shed looks good give a much better like yard vibe
@@bamilyguy6276 yeah I'm happy with it. 👍
I also like the small Massy Harvester 4x4 about £40k Mind you that one you have there suits the size of the farm. Im also using the Massey tiny baler for a laugh. If it aint red. Leave it in the shed😁 Blimey that land is getting less and less!!
Ok, I have tried that building you fancy on on Forgotten Lands today and I am using the Case International 150hp 4x4 and the 150hp 2WD and small tools. Unfortunately none of my stuff fits in the small bays!1🤔 I was really skint so I couldnt change it but will when I make some money. ( I dont do cheats normally or there is no incentive )
Thanks for trying that out for me! Ultimately looks like I'll need to add more bigger sheds as time goes on!
@@BeardyBam In the mods there is a 60 shed pack of all manner of stone buildings with algae around the wall bases. I like that. Looks old and damp
@@Grandad525 yeah I got that one installed!
Is there a specific mod that allows you to paint/terraform without paying? And yea I’d turn seasons off, then you can always switch it back later.
Yes there is. It's this mod here - www.farming-simulator.com/mod.php?mod_id=225034
Reminds me, I need to deduct some money to pay for the works. How much would you recommend? 😅
@@BeardyBam5-7k for “local landscaping” company to deliver and spread the gravel yard for you. And the little bit of concrete base for the barn 😅
@@jasonGR07 Call it 4.5k and you've got yourself a deal 😅
I always play with precision farming and seasons on. Otherwise you’re just playing a dull video game.
@@FarmerTLM yeah I agree for a normal play through and my BallySpring is set up that way, just conscious that I currently only have 1 field and waiting a full year to do anything with it again could mean I have to pick up more contracts again and don't want it to be boring for you all. 👍
yes turn it of.
Turn seasons off so that you can get more done
Perhaps turn off seasons until you progressed i bit further?
@@linusbussman yeah could be a good shout that!
