Nothing will ever compare to the original Rebel Heart but this honestly isn’t THAT bad at all and becomes a banger the more you listen to it. People definitely overreacted to it by calling it terrible just based off of the one entrance he made with it on TV.
It's the instrumental for me personally. It's just not as good as rebel hearts originally. The lyrics are the same but not sung in a good way at all lmao. Not a bad song but not as good. If they kept a female voice, it wouldn't be as bad imo

So, I was waiting for this to drop and honestly it's been really hard to not compare this to Rebel Heart but here are my thoughts: It lacks the soul with how the lyrics are delivered. The instrumental is also really basic and doesn't sound like a heart beat pumping. It fits Johnny Gargano's character, for sure. But this isn't the kind of song I would even listen to on its own... since there's Rebel Heart. When it comes to Def Rebel themes, I don't enjoy the song as a standalone like how I do with Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Austin Theory, etc good themes. This is a miss in my opinion Edit: Also I should mention, his heel theme "Coming Back For You" is just superior compared to this def rebel trash.

Rebel heart is my top 5 favorite themes ever but this one isn’t so bad I guess. The vocals are good but the beat and melody sounds kinda generic. I love that the song still relates to his story and history in NXT though. Not bad

It's good, but rebel heart just set the bar soo high that this just sounds terrible by comparison ... I do prefer the melody tho
