For those of you mentioning removing vergil. We haven't had a single player win TNS this year that played Vergil without Zero or morrigan on the team. Taking vergil out didn't seem necessary and it only hurts the people that use vergil point teams. In the last 2 years, it only happened once, in March of 2023. Thanks DxP. Hope you all enjoyed. Please stream more ratio tournaments. It's good content for me to watch and a good path forward for Marvel. Imo ratio should be the competitive standard. Capcom never blessed us with more balance patches, so that put a ticking clock on MvC3's competitive lifespan. 2023 was our last time on EVO mainstage because people watched the grand finals and saw a solved game. Marvel will die if we keep playing the same matchups over and over. Tong, you're the chosen one save this game from obscurity by making ratio the new standard. Reset the metagame and restore our tournament culture of surprise tech and counterpicks.

I just actually noticed you get x-factor life back slower when you are hitting your opponent. Guess you can give damage or recovery health but not both at the same time.
This is an awesome idea TNS but I hope if you guys do it again you consider banning Virgil too. I honestly can’t think of a reason for why morrigan and zero should be banned but not Virgil. the zero/morrigan bans seem popular with the comments, with no one pushing in favour of the top tiers. just wanted to chime in i enjoy the morrigan games, and zmc vs morri/doom is like my most enjoyed mu as a spectator so i personally prefer regular marvel. there's plenty vods with tons of zero and morrigan already though so if this is super popular i get running it. not like this isn't cool too
I only enjoy watching Morrigan sadly. But no one is as good with her as me 😭 people just pick doom (not knowing how to just him) and rely on fireball game with the best rush down character

Very limited data set but for example: If you go to the last ratio tourney top 8, those 3 characters I mention are on half the teams. That's too much. No offense for singling out your team members, its just coincidence they are all near or at mid-tier. I think a tourney with no high or mid tiers would be cool. That's all I'm saying
