Why did she put up with the abuse from her husband Nick, his sister Leila and her in-laws for 6 years? She came home sick and no one cared. It had to hurt to learn she was wanted just for her money and losing her job got her locked ot. Being rejected by her parents had to be devastating.

She did this to herself. She should have said no at once. Women need to stand up for themselves. They can’t MAKE you be a slave. You allow yourself to be made a slave.

I can’t believe she allowed them to continue to steal from her. She was complicit in them stealing since she knew and didn’t stop it. She’s very stupid and codependent.

MOST of these stories were written by Asians, the culture there is women are maids and baby manufacturers, nothing more. Strange that the women victims in these stories have a better job and higher income than their loser husband.

Where did the story take place where a female attorney named her son Righteous? He finally visited his mother when he needed money for his wedding. It was probably 40,000 yen, not dollars. I'd want to meet the other parents and check things out. Something seems suspicious.

U see the predictable pattern too. I've also noticed a couple other channels simultaneously release almost carbon copies of the same story. Only a couple r made such as it's a daughter instead of the wife, or a in-law etc. I now only click if a story actually looks as if it could be different from the same patterns.
      Pattern 1:
      - Female is misled to what marriage reality will be
      - Wife suffers while husband either emotionally and sometimes physically abuses and/or he ignores while others do
      - Wife "escapes" after suffering an often excessively unrealistic amount of time
      - Abusers end up destitute & miserable, begging her to return while she ALWAYS ends up in an unbelievably excessively positive position.
      - often finds good relationship & has happy family/future now.
      Pattern 2:
      - either fiancé's family or future in-laws look down upon author for challenging past out of author's control.
      - if parent/sibling suffers abuse in silence to not risk loved one's future happiness
      - either at family greeting or wedding, truth revealed to everyone
      - in-laws get "punished" for arrogant behavior by powerful person
      - author & family end up happy while watching other family lose everything.
It seems that these stories never really escape the main patterns with basically 1 or 2 differences & title obviously worded to sound original.
I believe these stories r AI generated with patterned outlines. No originality or creativity with a personal touch.
Do u concur or have a different opinion? Also, I think I missed a pattern or 2.

Love reading/ listening these stories, however one issue, lately is been either the narrator is reading so slow, sing song voice, or they're speed reading making it hard to follow. There is about 4 other narrators that do an absolute wonderful job reading and expressing the stories that makes me keep coming back wanting to hear more. I wish they were the only ones narrating.

What is with these stories where the husband thinks he has a right to the wife’s property? Is that an Asian thing or what is that because it doesn’t make sense that the husband would get the right to take over the property when someone dies. Who the heck is he to decide what he gets? Doesn’t the woman have any rights at least according to these stories which I’m assuming they come from Asia but maybe I’m wrong the wife does not have any rights or say so and what happens to her inheritance for example, the mother-in-law taking the inheritance money for herself. What is that all about? In this case the husband is a real jerk and I’m glad the wife is talking to someone else about what her rights really are, and what she can do to keep the house for herself and not give it to her husband for somebody else. I’m just not understanding. I also don’t understand when the husband’s family just says well we’re moving into your house and you were going to support us and you were going to do all the house work to the wife well the husband is out screwing around and does absolutely nothing.

Sam's parents weren't her in-laws yet. It is odd to refer them as in-laws. It was strange to hear Sam's father investigated her. I bet he investigated her mother, too, but didn't tell her. Investigating them seems to be an abuse of power. The first meeting of the parents seems to have been very awkward. Good for Melissa's mother for doing a background check on Sam. Yet she still referred to them as in-laws. This is obviously in Asia. In America wronged people don't get compensation.
