yes, the N95 rating is NIOSH or National Institute for Occuoational Safety and Health (US) and its equivalent is the P2 rating is CEN (EU). the highest rating for a particulate filter is P100 NIOSH (US) or its equivalwnt P3 CEN (EU) which i used while handling covid positive patients. do not use respirators or filters that do not have certified ratings...
Depends, if the particulate filter (the white one) is a N95 particulate filter then no since the N95 filter has an electrostatic charge that help traps minute particles such as bacteria and viruses. The one shown here seems to be made of paper where if you watch other videos, you can see a major difference with an N95 filter. Be sure if you are going to use this respirator during the coronavirus lockdowns that the 3M N95 particulate filter is required and recommended. Also be aware that the exhaust valve has no filtration, so make sure you are 2 meters (6 feet) away from folks as well as block with your hand a few inches away the exhaust area when speaking to another. You can also wrap a disposable surgical mask around the exhaust area but make sure to leave a big enough space for you to breathe out of - word of warning though, I am no expert so experiment for yourself and figure out and find what suits you best to keep yourself safe and of others if you can.

I've been waiting to see you change the filter. The outer cover, once installed I can no longer remove it. How is it done?
Oh...ive been using mine without the filter. That explains why I couldn't open the inside part...😒
I did the same thing.
As a user myself, it becomes very difficult to breathe when you have pre-filter and main filter on.
