Glad you guys enjoyed this video! By the way, I would LOVE to try out all disciplines of two and four wheels! If you know of a specific event of opportunity, please send me an email! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 catanzaroracing@gmail.com
Come out east to Ohio and do a WEXCR harescramble, ACES enduro, GNCC and National enduro.
GNCC snowshoe and Bad medicine. i'd watch the full 2 hours of that
GNCC!! You can line up with Pastrana and Hodges next year.
Extreme Enduro.
Do a hare n hound desert race!
I hope you're ready for some Iron Man action next year, AJ!!!
YES PLZ
Hey Rocky Mountain check out Perry Mountain 24hr race in Alabama and maybe another challenge with 6 $1500-$2000 bikes 🤔. It’s in June!!!
I’m trying to get a 6 man military veteran team together to do the 24hr race here. Trying to get bikes together now for it.
@@edwardsfamilyantics392 Marine Vet! 🙌
@@edwardsfamilyantics392 I'm a vet but hopefully I'll have my shit together enough to do an ironman run next year.
I would love to see you try some GNCC's and NEPG races. National Enduro ( NEPG ) is some of the most fun I've ever had on a dirt bike, I think you would enjoy them to and I think everyone would like to see you try more types of races like that👍🏻
I would love to see you ride more offroad and stuff like this! Great video, thanks for sharing!
Glad you liked it and well ridden!!
Welcome to the woods of Sweden any time you want!
Maybe the most memorable would be to come here in wintertime. Riding studded tires in deep snow-tracks and freezing temperatures I’d bet for an American would be kind of exotic…
Keep em coming!
As I get older, slower, and more scared of jumps, this is starting to become a bucket list event for me!
Very fun, but I would consider more dangerous than moto!
DUDE! AJ you are truly a SAVAGE for competing in the 24 hrs of Glen Hellen! I really dug this video! ! For sure do some more off road stuff, it will keep your channel fresh if you do some super-cross, outdoors, and various off road events. Again keep up the great work!
Absolutely will! Thanks!
Just finished watching this and RM’s series of it, it was great content all the way around. It’s fun these days to see more and more content creators branch out into different types of riding on different types of machines, and also have that content be well received by viewers. I gotta say, going from “Never raced longer than a 30+2” straight into “4 man team, 24 hour race on a clapped out woods 2 stroke from the 90’s” is quite a big leap 😂😂😂 I can’t imagine that was the most enticing sales pitch when you got invited hahaha, but it’s cool that you jumped into it and had some fun.
It didn't take much convincing when I got him on the phone haha! He was a trooper start to finish. I'm sure we was second guessing himself after we got off the phone, but he kept his word and even sounds like he had a good time! - Chase
Would be super cool to see you do. Gncc, NEPG, or even just a local harescramble. I always find it fascinating when pro MX riders try woods racing.
Loving it brother I had a 91 WR 250 and a 94 WR 250 and they were awesome bikes in their day love the wide ratio transmission I wish Yamaha would still make the two-stroke version of the WR anyways mad props Albert keep the rubber side down and may God bless you with many more journeys
Loved it. Definitely want to see more of different riding styles and racing events.
Very cool AJ! Good job pushing yourself past your comfort level. I did a 12 hour mtb race years ago solo and it was quite an experience! Cheers
Great video AJ! Go expand your motorcycle racing and record it for all of us to watch. So many fun things to do on a motorcycle!!!
Yes! I've been waiting for this!
Great job man. You took to off road quick. You were making a ton of passes. Cheers!!
Lots of fun!
Cool race, nice change of pace! I'd love to see you do this again.
If you enjoyed this then come to South Africa and take part in the Kalahari Rally and the Roof of Africa. You will enjoy those rallies. They'll really test you mentally and physically.
Great video man, glad you're not scared to branch out. Hope to see a lot more offroad stuff
Hey look, it's me! Great stuff as always man, keep it up!
I feel like AJ is ready for the Erzberg Rodeo.
fantastic effort AJ and to everyone on the team. i would love to have a go at one of these endurance races! 💪
This is epic. So much fun to watch. Would love to do something like this!
That night time footage looked sketchy as hell! Brilliant. 😃
Aj I would absolutely love to do this race! It's a goal now. Cheers from Michigan🤙
Look into the best in the desert races, reno to las vegas, or even a worcs race, grand prix, both of those come to my local home town.
Kudos for the team and for you! Who would have thought these bikes would make it! I never doubted that you will pull a great ride!
i think u should try a J Day Offroad race , its very fun and u do 2 30min motos so its basically an offroad sprint race
Would love to!
Said the same thing after every hare scramble this season. It was fun! It sucked lol! Gncc was on my bucket list at 44yo and did it this past season at big buck. Please come east and try one!!!! Can't wait to see it
I'd absolutely love to do a race like this, just not at night. Your night time footage had me nervous for you. What's actually illuminated is so little! Props!
Easy, would love to see you try out some roadbook navigation riding and some hard-enduro 💪
And would definitely love to see some comments on how you adjust (or don't) techniques between the different disciplines, as well as the difference in your mental approach to all the different kinds of competitive riding disciplines when compared to SX and MX that you know so well 🤔
long night for sure lol! good job
Bucket list fun torture !!
I think it would be awesome to link up with cody Webb sometime and do some hard enduro or enduro cross I think you would enjoy it and it would be very entertaining
These types of offroad races are really cool. Love this stuff, more would be great. It looked like you were smoking most guys. I was thinking pros vs joes lol. The Into The Dust series with Larry Janesky was really interesting to watch.
I'd bet a dollar those first laps when the sun starts to come out in the morning felt great
I feel like KDX rida will be making an appearance next year. lol. I heard you did this event on Keefers podcast, was looking forward to your perspective of the race. Didn't disappoint!
That was a great video. You should come out to the Wilseyville hare scramble is this weekend.
I loved seeing the wr250 make it through👍
Is she up for sale??
Might be! Would have to ask the Rocky Mountain guys 👍🏼
@@AjCatanzaro Thanks I miss my 1991 yz250 brings back memories
That ride you had was Epic👍💖✔🇺🇸🤓
Dude gncc enduro would be so cool I love watching u do mx but as a xc enduro guy myself I think it would be awsome to see a mx pro pursue more off road xc trail stuff amd vise versa for any xc enduro guys out there
Would love to see you race more GNCC races for sure and testing more bikes for that type of racing!!!! I’m planning on racing a 24hr race with a 6 man team I think in June. It’s not a 1 bike race, we all will have our own bike. Called Perry Mountain 24hr race in Alabama
Looks fun, good riding! Changing the silencer is a bandaid on a bullet wound if you see lots of spooge... the problem is internal, the jetting is not correct. Probably had something to do with the seizure.
Nuts, but I'd love to do this one day!
Ever think of doing a beach race in Europe? There are plenty big ones like Red-Bull Knock-out , Weston or Le Touquet..
Absolutely would love to do that!
@@AjCatanzaro Sweet! Can't wait for this !
good seeing you out there!
Looked a great time was awesome to see ya up and up your pace.
I can see your smile getting bigger the faster you go! Lol just another notch in your moto resume.
Right on brother that was sick! Good work 🤘🏻
Run a gncc! You will love it! Just make sure it’s not a rainy one
After watching this and Rocky Mountains videos, I am already planning to put a team together next year! Looks like a bucket list kind of race.
It absolutely is! I will race it next year 100%!!!
That's awesome! I guess some of us will see you out there! - Chase
That was awesome content bro looks like an event I would love to do one day. Maybe they have one here in Australia
I would love to see u race the Baja 1000!!! It's one of my dreams but It might be to late but u never know!! Cool video
Thoroughly enjoyed this content! Extreme enduro, it's funny watching the polar opposite of emotions. it's fun, it sucks, it's fun again.. much love from Australia
Ps how did you guys go in results?
Pps loved the bike!
That looks like a blast
Bravo, que experiencia más guapa 👏👏✊️🇪🇸🇪🇸
You should come up to Washington in the spring time and race the desert 100 iron man, its kinda like what you did in this video but its just a 100 mile race instead of 24hrs.
Sick video! You should do more enduros!.. I did a 24 hour summer before last and it was the gnarliest thing I’ve ever done.. 2 am pouring rain rooty nasty course up in northern bc Canada.. I was begging for mercy by the end.
Ironman !!! Would you consider this on a good setup?
That looked awesome, perfect event for a international team to show up buy a few cheap bikes and just ride. Those lights looked terrible, glad your first run in with a tree wasnt so bad. You should tap Sipes on the shoulder and do a GNCC.
Totally. Would be a great experience for someone who just wanted to fly in and just race something cheap to have a cool story to tell 😬
Track didn’t look too gnarly at all! I just did a cross country race at hangtown, it’s awesome the big tracks allow stuff like this!
You should try a desert race. Maybe one of the NHHA or something around where you live. It’s a totally different type of riding and I think everyone should experience it at least once.
Get yourself and some mates on ADV Bikes and do some point to point camping trips. You will never forget it 🤘🤘🤘
Much better than the rocky mountain video, just raw footage no stupid music
I bet out of all the racing you did, this one will be engraved in your memory🤣 Good stuff dude!
I would like to see your ride a GNCC or AMA District 36 Big 6 Series off-road Grand Prix or a hard enduro.
Perry Mountain, Alabama has a 24 HR race once a year that you can team up on or ironman. You should try that race !
Hell yeah good old winners take all! Team hurricane shirts Are so bad ass! That’s old school there, bad billy! Did he catch Rick melons bike on fire the night b4 the big race!! What would be cool is to have bear as a team mate! The big dude on the movie!!
You were riding good in the technical parts. Try a GNCC or to be in the middle of Nowhere; a New Mexico Desert Racing Series Event.
This was amazing 🔥🔥
You should come to Jersey and do the stump jumper hare scramble at Sahara sands, they have on in October of this year and I think one in June of next year
good job, that was cool to watch
Love to see you get into some enduro
Love this content
good video as always:)
Did a mid race top end? Thats wild 😂😂
Nice job. I’m laughing because I was stupid enough to agree to do a 25 hour race in Washington in 2006 (Halloween weekend) . cold, dry and windy is all I remember 😂
Definitely need to try a GNCC race or come back to your roots and head back up to New England and do a jday race… but definitely do a GNCC for sure!! (afternoon race for the full 3hr experience)
The whole off-road scene isn’t no where near as mainstream as MX is, but I have noticed it’s gaining popularity and gaining some attention of some pro mx riders that tend to show there face from time to time!!!
Sup Pinkney! Roost ya next spring. 94 Yz250. That's my baby.
I did this race with a team of five. We should have had six. It was a good time during the day, never had ridden GH either. Friends tried to get me to do the six hour... No I said, then the 10 hour, No I said... This one for some stupid reason I said yes too. I was on the bike as the sun set and then rode the first laps in the dark. Different world and it didn't matter how much light you had, as soon as you came up on another rider or were passed (mostly my experience) the dust was like being in a fog bank. Kind of terrifying in most ways to me. A mix of good times and I bad I guess. I won't do the 24hr again. Maybe the six...
Man that looks a great challenge 👍
Should come to Washington state and try the desert 100. Largest race in the northwest.
You should come to sweden and do the "Gotland Grand National" its only a 3h race. Super fun. =)
Nothin like a mid race top end and moto heat cycle ✊
You should try to collaborate with guys like Ryan Sipes, Cody Webb, Caleb Russel... i think some endurance racing in the off season would be sick. And the Mental endurance aspect should help with SX as well.
Ive got an 1986 CR250R and she is an absolute beast
From a desert racer. What did you think of the track format if you were to do it on a good bike and just a normal race (Day time)? Would you do more Desert racing?
Can't believe that bike made it 24 hours. Pretty amazing. Haha. 😂
Haha I know it!
Great job, more off road!
Do more of these.
Do a gncc next! My son and I race a local series like gncc and we have a blast. He does 250c i do 45+c.
I see you had some problems calculating stints and it's quite easy to do so: FUEL TANKS - Go for either 1 or 2 of them per stint (depending on how big your fuel tank is)
While longer stints might be a bit tougher on the body, they'll allow every rider of the team to get plenty of rest between them, allowing the whole team to stay consistent throughout the race. Short stints might sound fast but the short rests will get you toasted by the end of the night, half-dead once the checkered flag is near. Things are much easier if you feel "fresh" by the start of every single stint, feeling yourself decaying is horrible for both the mind and the speed.
That looks like SOOO much fun!! Man, you should team with me on a quad and run the Baja 1000... I know quads aren’t your thing, but it would be a fun challenge. I’m trying to eventually get one built for Baja. 🤷🏼♂️
Loved it
My son and I race hare scrambles, and watching you run up on slow riders gave me anxiety 😂. I hate running a race with slow, sloppy riders with no situational awareness. You need to try a gncc. You’re probably crush it!
Gotta come and hit some gncc’s ! Also when passing dudes give them a shout to let em know your coming and most guys will let you go by (as long as your not in their class obviously)
Can anyone help me identify the MSR hydration pack the guy starting the race on AJs team, was wearing?
That's an MSR pack that we are testing! It will be out soon!
@@rmatvmc sign me up to get one ! I like it! I just bought that same full MSR kit he was wearing, along with boots and some other gear from you guys. Hands down the best Moto website 👍🏼👏🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
thats such a sick bike
So fast. I think you may have found another calling! hahah
How about a score Baja 500 or 1000 those are scary!! 😆
Come to the GNCC Ironman! .. Next year
Should check out over the bars gang 24hr race at starvation ridge!
Is that talen in the pink?
