- A railway bridge in Russia’s Samara region was damaged by a blast Monday, causing rail traffic delays. "On March 4, 2024, at about 6:00 a.m., the bridge was damaged by blowing up its power structures," the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said in a statement, though it did not specifically claim responsibility for the attack. "The railway line was used by the aggressor state to transport military cargo, including engineering ammunition," from a plant in a nearby city.

However, with the sun seemingly rising int he east, time zones further west have time that is earlier in the day. Thus when in Moscow it' s six o'clock, in Kiev it's five o'clock, not the other way around.

I was encountering this site only once in a while, when surfing various channels, but OMG, this is a DAILY report! When I found it out recently (Sorry Anna!), I immediately subscribed her channel so as not to miss anything. Her patriotic reporting resonates with the world's solidarity with Ukraine. It's 21st century for God's sake and cannot understand why anybody should/could suddenly invade other nation. But it's Russia today under a tight dictatorship lasting as long as 20 yrs. I used to love and admire Russia for their technology (Sputnik), Tolstoy, Tchaikovsky, arts, ballet, and all that, and I still do. They have one of the greatest national anthem. Where have the Great Russia gone? I was hoping until just a few months ago that the Suspect Putin would be booted out by election to show his honourable way out so that he could save his face from the losing war, claiming that it was the People's will. But I realized that's not the way this man and the Russian system work. Naive, eh? A bit uncomfortable that Ukraine extended their reach as far as to Samara simply because Russia's reaction is unpredictable.
Hoping people's power will finally end this adventure of a mad old man. But rigged election and ......oh, well...

It's always nice to learn geography from you Anna even though it's not your main focus in education, or wasn't before the full scale invasion of Ukraine by orcs. I had never heard of a "closed city" until today. There are military bases and industrial facilities, farms and ranches where you're supposed to have permission to enter. But a "closed city?" I think I would be trying to get out instead of get into a closed city. But orc regulations are different than in the US. I do hope Samara soon will be closed. Nothing in or out. A big hole in the ground. I do not want to visit there. I might watch a documentary if and when it becomes open to journalists.
Again, thanks for more education Professor Anna. I'll keep trying to spread the word to my elected officials. Tomorrow is an important day for me. I get to VOTE. Please say a prayer for the US as I continue my prayers for Ukraine.
