I have this exact model. At first it wouldn't go through a full mag without a malfunction. It was stovepipe after stovepipe. I then went up 2lbs on the recoil spring because I like to shoot full power norma rounds and it hasn't malfunctioned since. I also had to properly adjust the over travel screw on the trigger. Now the trigger is amazing. My only complaint now is the sharp edges on the safety lever. Other than that I dig it the most..
My edges on my safety is actually pretty smooth and I didn’t get this gun new so idk if the guy before me had any feeding issues or not or how many rounds had been threw it before I got it but I didn’t have any with this one maybe he worked out those kinks or I just got lucky and got one of the good ones
After some polishing of rails and slide stop, and about 1000 rounds it runs very nice now. However like some of you pointed out the manual safety is sharp, not the front part, the part that extends back toward the grip safety, I been considering seriously finding a new manual safety with just the wing in the front.
@@spookytkidit doesn't... the owner's manual for it is for all of RIA's 1911 models so it's as vague as it can possibly be. Doesn't even mention how to adjust the overtravel screw.
All the RIA 1911 triggers I have tested are 4-5.5 lbs. I have not tried this 10mm version. After about 500-1k rounds they lighten up about a half pound in my experience.
I’m left handed as well. I have a leather belt holster from 1791 Holsters. I don’t carry this gun a lot, but the gun fits well and it serves its purpose
Considered building up a Rock Island A2 10mm from an 80 percent frame but ended up going single stack. RIA A2 magazines seem hard to come by.

1911's have a 300 to 500 round break in period. its proly mentioned in the owner's manual.

Have the single stack, using Wilson Combat magazines. Shooting both .40 S&W / 10mm Auto. Perfect.

Ya I would definitely agree with that I have had a few other Ria in 45 and I would definitely say your comment is 100% true this was my first 10mm
What OWB holster do you recommend? I am left handed having a problem finding a holster with full rail support for left hand.
Honestly on this gun I don’t have any recommendations for you I never even carry this myself honestly haven’t looked for any holsters for it
