I sent you a message during the live link from Bristol game on Saturday, I reminded you as B’ham City supporter when last season you put 6 goals past us & to keep the faith, well the very next game Pool did it again, 6 of the best. Onward & upwards Lee 👍
@@LeeCharlesTV not at all, I just wanted to cheer you both up with a happy memory from last season. I really hope it’s the start of a run of good results & you avoid the drop but hopefully not at the expense of Brum..lol
Rotherham fan here, you must be happy with that Lee! Really hoping that we both survive and I wish you the very best of luck for the rest of the season 👍🏻
@@LeeCharlesTV I'd love to think we can do it, however, if we lose to Cardiff on Saturday, we could be in deep trouble, as we have some extremely tough games all the way through to the end of the season, but only time will tell
Lovely story about you and your Dad, Lee. Reminded me of the days I spent walking to BR from Poulton with my dear Dad. PS - I’m with others, in thinking MM sat the lads down to watch your well constructed ‘rant’. Worked a treat. Here’s hoping for more of the same on Sat, against a much stronger Coventry. 👍🏼
Lee I’m a Forest fan who subscribed just before you beat us 4-1, me and My Dad have watched your videos at that time and since then and really cheered every Blackpool goal last night! Then this video really touched us both having a similar relationship to your and your Dad! Sorry for your loss but all the best for the rest of the season and beyond ❤️
Thanks Rutland and treasure every moment with your dad and he will know that he will be forever there with you at matches even when he has gone just like my dad still goes with me. I talk to him at every game and I still link arms with him when it is an opposition corner and say quietly "electricity keep em out" just like we always did
Lovely words about you and your dad Lee, very much reminded me of me and mine. I was very sorry to see you had to have a rant on Saturday after how well you battled against us the week before. Glad your rant worked, I was delighted to see your result last night and I thought of you and Jane! Very much enjoyed her Wigan Beer Festival blog too. All the best to you both!
Yes I think that triggered it because we couldn't believe we could play like we did against you only to follow it up with that utter tosh at Bristol City. Maybe this result will have rhe proper effect because 6-1 is not a result a bottom 3 team can produce? it has to be a STATEMENT Thanks for the support
So happy with the result Lee and the loved the story about your Dad and what being a Tangerine means to you. Lets keep believing and that this is the start of the run needed to stay in the Championship. Great content Lee.
Thanks Mark yes all this means so much to me as I imagine it does for all of us. I hope dad is watching along with all the dads we have lost that took us as kids
Absolutely over the moon with this result Lee. It gives me hope that there is still a lot of fight left in this team. I was delighted for the fans and they really deserved a night like that after a miserable year. Great tribute to your dad and the Blackpool fan who tragically passed away a couple of weeks ago. Great work Lee!
Thanks Damian and yes it was a real statement of intent and couldn't have come any later than it has. I am hoping the team can build on this with the confidence boost it must have given them. 6-1's don't come along very often and definitely not when you are a bottom 3 side! So COME ON Blackpool 🧡
Stumbled across your vlog when we came to yours earlier in the season (Blades) and thought I’d pop back to see your reaction to this game. What a belter. Gotta love the footy.
Hi Matthew yes something finally clicked we are all really hoping that this is the turning point, the defining moment and IF it is? then we have a chance 🙏🏻
Sorry about your dad I feel your pain. As a Coventry fan I don’t want Blackpool to go down because it a great place to go. I’m coming on Saturday is there anywhere to park near the ground.
My dad died in 2011 what prompted me was a comment saying I shouldn't get so mad about football when so many people are suffering to pay bills so it was merely to explain why it does matter so much to me and its no disrespect to people struggling with bills etc
I have lived and breathed them since my 1st season ticket the year Eamon O'Keefe joined it was an epic father/son journey that all eventually was perfectly book ended with the dream that started at Wembley against Cardiff City and played out in Dad and I seeing the Premier League together in his last ever full season with me. He died in the October of 2011 but we did it!! all those years of believing and getting kicked in the nuts finally made sense because of Ian Holloway and that team 🙂👍🏼🧡
The Lads obviously responded to your pre match rant Lee….I’m a Forest fan following you since your live debate re Bowler and Johnson. I enjoy your vlog and wish Blackpool all the best for survival…🤞🙏⚽️
Thanks stvwr yes that one with Dore and Co. was quite something. He truly is an amazing player I just hope he comes out of this on the other side because the whole transfer to Greece has really knocked his confidence and MM isn't really helping him to regain it sadly
@@LeeCharlesTV I hope Josh regains his confidence. His transfer to Forest was viewed with excitement then with bewilderment . Hopefully he will come good for Pools great escape… lovely memories re your Dad , Lee… thank you for sharing. Steve.
Well done Lee, I’ve not messaged in a while since Cov were bottom of the league but I’ve got a soft spot for Blackpool and think it will be a cracking game next week as we are unbeaten in 7 and think you could be the team to break that run, hopefully not though…glad to hear some positivity and I can definitely relate to going to home games with my dad so I will share that memory too as you do 🤙🤙
Yes bring it on before yesterday we were dreading it but now there's a chance. May the best team Win and yes our dad's have a lot to answer for and be thankful for in equal measure 🙂👍🏻
Hi Lee When you read the cards Regarding the times you shared with your Dad.. I started to get emotional. Lee what lovely memories you have, nobody can take away. Bless u. C"mon Blackpool.👍 From a Leeds Fan.
It was an emotional day Penny and I miss him so much. I could never throw those cards away and have kept them safe since 2011. The beauty was it made all the years of suffering together when we got into the Premier League and he managed to live long enough to see it 🧡
That intro was special, Lee. Same for me, my dad took me to Bloomfield road when I was 6 and we went every week, was the thing that brought us together and still does to this day. I think northern men especially sometimes struggle to show emotion and for many of us it's like the football is a conduit to bring us closer, UTMP.
Thanks I am glad it touched a nerve and brought back those precious memories. When I am at the match I am still with my dad, it is going that keeps him close and I often talk to him 'come on dad keep this corner out' come on dad we need ya turn this around for us' etc etc I do it all the time. It doesn't always work but I like to talk to him
Fantastic video Lee . Wasn't at the game Lee but watched the game on Sky . Love your recollection of your eulogy you gave at your Dads funeral and how much Blackpool FC means to you . Did I dream the result ? No I didn't . Every man put in a shift and they got their just deserves . This result has restored my faith in us managing to stay in the Championship. Keep up your great work Lee and Jane !
Hi Duncan thank you and yes for me it proved we are not a bottom 3 team hanging in by our boot straps we are a decent Championship side and to be honest I don't think there has been that much to fear this season, we have been unlucky in games, we have had players injured in games, we have had some terrible refs, we have some had ridiculous sendings off...it has been cruel but I still believe we are a mid table to higher Championship side and that has to be the aim next season if we pull off the impossible and stay up
Bought the stream yesterday and what a performance! Cheering the goals from my flat in Scotland! All out attack, brilliant to watch. What a difference! Whole team was great, but I have to mention Charlie Patino - this is the player he can be, very talented and played with more maturity than of late.
You picked a brilliant one to buy Michael certainly got your moneys worth and yes patio can be that player he certainly plays well with Fiorini we saw that at QPR away earlier in the season where sadly they both got injured
This was a wonderful match to watch. Nice to see not so many high balls and really good play throughout between the team. The 6:1 win should be a good boost for what has been disappointing results over the last few games but its important that the team continues to play like this over the rest of the season. Thanks Lee and Jane for posting this video as always and long may we see many wins ahead. Take care and keep up the good work. I really loved the tribute to your dad. It reminded me of my elder brother who was an avid Blackpool supporter in the 1950's before he joined the RAF, he never missed a home game at Bloomfield Road. Sadly he passed away aged 72 in Hereford where he moved to after marrying the Station Warrant Officer daughter when based at RAF Credden Hill in Hereford. He remained being a Blackpool supporter but often went to see Hereford Town play as well on match days at home. As regards Jane's remark about Stanley Matthews training on Blackpool Beach that is very true as I have seen him often doing it when I was a young boy. He would do this even on a match day early in the morning. A wonderful player.
Great story about your elder brother Ednam thanks for sharing that with us and yes dad would tell me Matthews would train on the sandhills so it was definitely a thing 🙂👍🏻
Still seems like a dream. I had resigned myself to the fact that we probably wouldn't win again this season. Great video captured the euphoria of the evening. Need to check out your rant. Can we follow this up with more victories?
The reality is if we can beat someone 6-1 then there's no reason why we can't follow it up hopefully this gives them the belief because we all know we can rip teams apart when we are on it and last night we were at our best
I'm up for that it would be more Churchillian/inspirational than a rant though if I was in the dressing room they would have to be prepared to run through a brick wall for me
Lovely world's lee. We would never question your passion for our club which is more than I can say for half the squad as late. The lads definitely seen the rant video ha
I have to say I really hope they have and it helped them find their inner 'Rocky Balboa' or whatever it was they needed to come out and pummel the opposition like they did last night and by playing they way they realised that they are good enough and believe in themselves as much as we believe in them 🙏
Boro Chris here again Lee. Lovely intro about your Dad & exactly how i felt about my Dad at his funeral when my lament was read out for him & why our football club are so important as it connects us forever with our Dads that we have now lost and we still hear & see our memories in our minds as we are watching our beloved team & why we carry on through thick & thin because like you say. ITS US. A generation thing. What can i say about the game!. Its not rocket science your squad needs to go forward & keep the ball on the deck & was so wonderful to see. My worry is McCarthy will fucking tinker with it. Just good to see you & Jane with big smiles. Onwards & upwards i hope Lee. Cmon The Tangerines!. Boro Chris UTB!!. Cardiff are now your target!
Thanks Chris that is our fear too and if he does after witnessing what happened when we did keep the ball on the ground and pass it around and go out all guns blazing and kept those guns blazing until we had 5 then he would be a silly man and I don't believe that he is
Hi Lee, just to say I thought the speech about your dad, and what it meant to you being a Blackpool supporter ,was fantastic and very moving, thanks for sharing this, I think it spoke for us all in a way, what the football club means to us all, when you have Tangerine blood, we all have our unique story to tell, my late dad wasn’t into football sadly, so I never got to experience the highs and lows of football with him, but what cherished memories you must have with your dad, every time Blackpool play, your right back there in a way, Blackpool FC is our DNA, like you said, when Blackpool go down we all go down, when they win we all win, ps can you rant more often 6-1 ! 😂 UTMP 🍊
Thanks Mark and I am sorry your dad wasn't into football because yes dad is there with me every game I often talk to him and ask him to shine down a bit of luck (even if it doesn't come I ask him anyway) and whenever we are defending a corner I'm linking arms with him and muttering to myself 'electricity...keep em out' just like we always did. Fingers crossed I don't have to rant again now and we play like that every week 🤞🏼
@@LeeCharlesTV My mum got married again a few years ago, so I go in with my stepdad Phil nowadays, you might have seen him home and away with that Tangerine wig he insists on wearing all the time ! in his 60s, bit of a cult figure now 😂
Ah yes of course well these are great times and I'm happy you're getting the chance to do a father/step son thing you will have loads of great memories and he is a fantastic character 😁👍🏻🧡
Yep since he died in 2011 I have read them many times I didn't quite get through it without cracking up on the day but I can now. I do a lot of this so he can watch it and make him proud of me
Last night was My dads first game since 2012, he isn’t a Blackpool fan but would take me to games because i was, I grew up and he didn’t have to take me anymore, what a game! 🧡
What a FANTASTIC NIGHT. FAN being the operative word. Cos thats the backbone of all teams. Our Roy in our football forum is still recovering from last night. And I mean from the match not several beers. We were all delighted as beside Roy we all embrace Blackpool. On my whatsapp on our forum I kept seeing texts from Roy with OMG! ......What a night. Hopefully a prelude to honest hope for rest of season We all love our teams Millwall Feyenoord, Liverpool , Dartford & BLACKPOOL...but weve all been praying for Blackpool lately. What a night👍😊😉⚽️⚽️⚽️. Gaz and the gang. Roy mustve slept well last night 👍😊
Amazing story about you and your Dad Lee and a brilliant video. Exactly the result and performance you can be proud of. Was a fantastic tribute to Tony as well, great to see. Good luck for the rest of the season, hopefully you won’t be back playing us in the hell hole of League One next year 🤣
Hi Tyler long time since we last spoke. You are right we do not want to go back down to League 1 but we are far from safe yet this was only just the start but it was an unbelievable start. Best of luck to Charlton hopefully we will get to meet up when you get up not if we come down 🙏🏻
Hopefully that result turns you on the right path and you start to get results together. Definitely up for that but we'll be waiting a while for that day to come when Charlton get back up. Looking far from that at the moment.
What a night!! Bout time we showed that passion and belief!! Everything from the goals to the tribute to Tony Johnson everything was great! Lets take this momentum into Saturday lads UTMP!! 🔥🔥🔥
We can do,it..the Yates penalty was taken with the attitude we must adopt ..fearless and determined to win at any cost UTMP..Let’s get back to the days when teams feared a trip to Bloomfield Rd…
@@LeeCharlesTV Missed a good opportunity against Stoke who look a good strong side we had an of day but still 9 games to go will look out for your results best of luck
If you had to apologise for misunderstanding the clubs pricing and plans it is because they didn't communicate it well enough in the first place, glad they set that right for you as they should. Also glad they went about it in the right way. I hope they realise just how important it is to communicate well as you have demonstrated. Wonderful result am willing you on to beat the drop hope the lads are confident that if they TRY to perform as well as that for the rest of the season they will probably stay up.
wow you had me welling up nearly there Lee with your story about your dad. I must say when we do experience the highs with Blackpool, it always gets me thinking about my late mum and grandad and it's my relatives on that side who got me into supporting the pool at a younger age when i was 11 or 12 and ever since my first trip to bloomfield road I've been in love with this amazing club and your words there resinated with me fully as I'm sure they did with many other supporters. Your rant video as well the other day i fully agreed with every word in there and the players most definetly needed to hear it, they proved last night that they are capable of fighting for this survival and i think mick has finally sussed out a decent starting 11 that he needs to go for again on saturday
I am glad it hit the spot and resonated with you and brought back those memories for you I hoped that it would get that reaction. We are all the same with similar stories and there is nothing better than having that lifelong connection with your mum, your dad or your grandad they LIVE with us every time we enter through those turnstiles. Yes we can tweak it here and there but that was definitely a starting 11 worth sticking with and I hope he does you have to play well to keep the shirt that's what it is all about for me!
@@LeeCharlesTV yes definitely, no need for him to go tinkering with it, a win on Saturday is absolutely vital and it’s another must win game, a draw won’t be good enough. If Rotherham beat Cardiff and we win by 2+ goals for example, then that puts us above Cardiff on goal difference even though they’d have a game in hand. That would be absolutely huge going into the international break to actually get our heads above water. Would do fans and players’ confidence the world of good
I don't know about playing your rant to the players Lee but he should definitely play them the start of this video as your story of your Dad really spells it out what it means to be a football supporter.
Hi lee/jane Travelled down from edinburgh yesterday (tues) arrived at teatime was so cold I didn't really want to go but I forced myself .WTF was all that about !!!! Big mick changing his formation!! Must be a lucky omen for me cos my last game was preston !! Was going home on friday now staying til sunday so that we can bag another 3 points against Coventry-!! Lol I've said it before we cant win games defending hope the big lump has had his penny drop !!!! Onwards and upwards utmp . Great blog once again hope to see you saturday
Yes exactly right we don't defend well but we look different class when we attack, we have the players, the pace and the trickery to do it so DO IT Blackpool and boy did they last night. That was a huge RESULT 😁👍🏻
Well dun Blackpool I was gobsmacked each time it came up in latest scores 6-1 see there's still hope for yous, just hope we have a good result tonight chasing those top 6 cmonnnn
It was nice to be smiling again we had almost forgotten what to do or say at the end?🤣😂 we had a great time in Teesside lovely people, great place we will be back one day 🙂👍🏻🧡
Lee, did MM really show the players your rant video? Jane, not only did Stanley Matthews run on the beach but he also wore weights around his ankles while running on the beach. He said the reason he did that was so when he ran on the BR pitch it was like running on air in comparison. That's what I read anyway. UTP!
I was only joking around in the video I very much doubt that he did but I know for certain some players watch my videos and they have told me personally that they are big fans of what we do. Jordan Gabriel always makes me laugh because honestly he falls to pieces when he speaks to Jane he is such a big fan and yet I am star struck when I talk to him! so yeah some of them will have watched it and I hope they thought 'yeah he is right lets bloody well attack 'em and stay up' Holloway had us attacking the Premier League and they pooped their pants we were so unlucky not to stay up and it was a shame they unsettled Charlie Adam in January or we would have. I too have heard that about the weights I am pretty sure you are spot on 🙂👍🏼
The words hit home Lee for a lot of fans , you just can't support any other team, it hurt when you don't get the results you want, you never know this result, what a great end of season it could be, leaving Nigeria tomorrow for home in the Boro , looking forward to seeing my team on Saturday against PNE, good luck I hope you do it
Did I hear you say that The Blackpool Manager showed the players " your rant video " , if that's correct then Mr Mick McCarthy had better watch out . Could we be seeing you do the team talk before and at half time [ watch this space .]. Fantastic result and the part about you and your Dads relationship etc etc was very emotional spoken from the heart
No I didnt say that Terry but we were contacted by the club and had to attend an eventful meeting about it. I can only hope it was seen by some and seeing as we saw exactly what I was asking for and more last night I'm claiming 'an assist' 😂🤣
yes it is going to be something because there will be a lot more Blackpool there after Tuesday than there would have been, You are loud and so are WE it will be something else
MM has had to change tactics(why has it taken so long?) and the senior players and yourself Lee have forced that with their 'chat' after the last game, plus your video will have definitely touched a nerve. Long may it continue.🧡⚽
It was a good result for Blackpool last night when they won 6 - 1 against QPR at home and I think Blackpool will get a result against Coventry City at home this weekend lee and Jane
Hi lee, great video as always, I am absolutely over the moon with the result and if we keep playing like this, we could stay up what do you think of Mick McCarthy? Will he keep us up?
On Sunday I was thinking we are down after Bristol City that was truly one of the worst performances I have ever watched and then 3 days later I'm starting to think we might still survive as that was one of the best performances I have seen in ages. So who knows?
you'd hate to hear it but it would be funny if this is blackpool's last win of the season 😂 your father was a wise man, i really wish i could have the footballing start like you did, watching football back in the days. it's a bit different now.
Quite right I would hate it but who knows? it's Blackpool nothing would surprise me tbh. I would often dream of what it was like to watch players like Matthews, Morty, Bill Perry, Jackie Mudie, Eddie Shimwell, Ernie Taylor etc. They were just household names as dad went to the 1953 Cup Final and he did have such great stories to tell. We were one of the biggest clubs back then, with internationals, we were as big as clubs like Manchester United back then. Matthews was the nations favourite son. Dads stories were a million miles away from the 3rd and 4th division stuff we watched together over the years
How many teams get relegated at the end if the season? Is it 3 or 4? Either way heres hope that Blackpool stat up and improve next year and find themselves in the premier league soon.
@@LeeCharlesTV i am a chelsea fan, but always have a soft spot for Blackpool and lived in the area twice. But I really hope the team stays up and gets back into the premier league.
Thanks Dean what we did in 2010 was a miracle it would take a lot of luck and a coming together of some extraordinary coincidences that aligned themselves with a moon off Jupiter or something for that to ever happen again. For now staying up would be a miracle at this present moment in time 🙏
Just a incredible magical night Mick McCarthy has gotta of played ur rant video for the players.. ..first off my condolences very sorry to hear about the passing of ur late dad he would of been so proud of that result yes everybody can be passionate like my grandad was born in Nottingham went to school in Nottingham n the football (Forest obviously) til he was in RAF for 22 years living all over the place til he n my grandma both sadly passed on now moved to Burnley in 1992 so i don’t think it had no intention to come across disrespect to people struggle paying bills etc.. …i know what it’s like working in the community for a football club hopefully this massive result can help this great football club get outta trouble its too big of a club to be in league 1 again those dark days of league 1 league 2 should be a distant memory for Seasiders.. …up next is Coventry ya need points desperately so if ya don’t get a result there this game would of been a waste of time.. ..keep believing it can happen few season defying games mixed in now is the time for getting ur act together UTMP🍊🍊🍊
yes it was a truly magical night and if this doesn't have an effect on the team then nothing will it simply has to mean something. Coventry is going to be tough they are on a roll. Lovely story about your grandad truered Jane and I have found since we started this channel and have met so many fans of other clubs that we are all basically the same we are so similar in our stories and we truly are #onefootballfamily and it is sad to see this undercurrent that was there for all to see on the video as Blackpool fans paid tribute to a fan sadly killed after the Burnley match you just ask yourself why? because I have never really understood the violence that is starting to rise up again. It's refreshing that you consider us a club too big to be in League 1 because we believe that too. Yes exactly 9 cup finals to go and we have to play like that from here on in 🙏🏻
@@LeeCharlesTV all the violence slowly creeping back into football is a joke it shouldn’t happen at any sporting event let alone football… ….people seriously need to take more responsibility for their actions cause no doubt u’ve got the majority of pissheads who have got drunk then go to the football etc: Violence is ruining society n without society there’s no community imagine what we’re teaching the next generation all the children when we leave off.. …final whistle goes u just go home n live ur normal life without causing drama
100% agree and my video a few weeks ago after the Rotherham game highlighting the trouble that is growing was a warning fortunately no one was injured in that video little did I know only a few weeks later someone would lose their life! 😥

Maybe this result will have rhe proper effect because 6-1 is not a result a bottom 3 team can produce? it has to be a STATEMENT
Thanks for the support
Thank God for your channel. Get to see all the action .I can't afford to go. Being fan 50 years but circumstances now . I tune in every week
We do our best to take you there and we hope that you enjoy sitting with us in the stands so it's great to hear nice feedback thank you 🙂👍🏻🧡
well done... great to see you both with smiles on your faces👏👏👏👏Boing Boing.. 👍
yes and it felt great to come out with joy too Dennis thanks it has been quite a while we almost didn't know what to do or say? 🤣
6 lee and Jane!!!!!!...get in. Got to keep going now fantastic result. Really hope you stay up ...the best. Gaz.
Nah no way? 6? Nope I'm not having it...I'll wake up soon 😂🤣
A more passionate Blackpool fan you'll never meet.
Your love for the tangerines shines through.🧡👍🏻
I have lived and breathed them since my 1st season ticket the year Eamon O'Keefe joined it was an epic father/son journey that all eventually was perfectly book ended with the dream that started at Wembley against Cardiff City and played out in Dad and I seeing the Premier League together in his last ever full season with me. He died in the October of 2011 but we did it!! all those years of believing and getting kicked in the nuts finally made sense because of Ian Holloway and that team 🙂👍🏼🧡
Well there we go, IF we somehow manage to stay up you can confidently say you played a part! RIP father Lee Charles. Up the Pool
Yes darn right Peter 🙂👍🏼
Steve.
We hope so too because we love him and want him to do well
Well done Lee, I’ve not messaged in a while since Cov were bottom of the league but I’ve got a soft spot for Blackpool and think it will be a cracking game next week as we are unbeaten in 7 and think you could be the team to break that run, hopefully not though…glad to hear some positivity and I can definitely relate to going to home games with my dad so I will share that memory too as you do 🤙🤙
Yes bring it on before yesterday we were dreading it but now there's a chance. May the best team Win and yes our dad's have a lot to answer for and be thankful for in equal measure 🙂👍🏻
Hi Lee
When you read the cards
Regarding the times you shared with your Dad..
I started to get emotional.
Lee what lovely memories you have, nobody can take away.
Bless u.
C"mon Blackpool.👍
From a Leeds Fan.
It was an emotional day Penny and I miss him so much. I could never throw those cards away and have kept them safe since 2011. The beauty was it made all the years of suffering together when we got into the Premier League and he managed to live long enough to see it 🧡
@@LeeCharlesTV
Forgot to say.
What a brilliant result for Blackpool.
They we're on 🔥🔥🔥
Soo well deserved..🥳🥳🥳🍊🍊🍊🍊👍👍👍
Did that really happen? I'm still not sure Penny 😂
It doesn't always work but I like to talk to him
Sorry for your loss Lee.. chin up m8. I love what you do.. we are tangerine brothers. Keep up the great videos from Craig.. life long seasider 🍊
It was 2011 Craig it has been a long time. Dad had to put up with me for 30 odd years Jane has to now 🤣
Fantastic video Lee .
Sunderland fan here, Great Result, Hope you seasiders stay up!
Thanks Luke best of luck for the season 🧡
So good to see the smiles back on your faces, hopefully the springboard to get you guys staying in the league.! Good luck for next game. UT B.!
Thanks Chris so far good results haven't had any effect but nothing has been sk emphatic as this 🙏
Really pleased for you guys. Hopefully this will be the spring board you guys need to go on a run and stay up! Pete. Boro FC👍
Fingers crossed! Pete thank you 🙂👍🏻🧡
I'm so glad that Orange Aero was a lucky one 😂, Glad youse had a great time. UTMP
Gosh yes it was genius sorry I had to call you the Ambulance Guy in the video. I couldn't remember your name 🤔
What a game, what a result! Working magic with those rants of yours, Lee. 😁
Congrats on a massive win. UTMP 🍊
Thank you so much SCL and thank you for becoming our latest member 🙂🧡 the little football by your name looks great 👍🏻
GET IN THERE 💪 I nearly choked on my cornflakes this morning Lee , well done ! You were due that m8✊
yeah what the 'F' was that? 🤣😂
Well done Lee, you'll have to do the team rant every week!
UTB
I'm up for that it would be more Churchillian/inspirational than a rant though if I was in the dressing room they would have to be prepared to run through a brick wall for me
Lovely world's lee. We would never question your passion for our club which is more than I can say for half the squad as late. The lads definitely seen the rant video ha
I have to say I really hope they have and it helped them find their inner 'Rocky Balboa' or whatever it was they needed to come out and pummel the opposition like they did last night and by playing they way they realised that they are good enough and believe in themselves as much as we believe in them 🙏
Great result and no doubt in my mind that the Lee Charles Rant was the catalyst for such a display. 👏
nor in mine Geoff
Really hope you stay up, love playing Blackpool away
Thanks Danny who is your team?
@@LeeCharlesTV Norwich city , went this season was my favourites away day
Well done Blackpool. Great result tonight.
Thanks chi sharp it was quite unbelievable I still can't quite get my head around it tbh but more of the same please Blackpool 🙏🏻
Good to see you both happy. Great vid as usual.
Thanks 👍 Nick 😁😁
Well played Blackpool, really pleased for Jane and Lee , , loved the story about your dad Lee , atb , from Kev ov Wolves..
Thanks for sticking with us Kevin we appreciate it 🙂👍🏼
Boro Chris here again Lee.
Thanks Chris that is our fear too and if he does after witnessing what happened when we did keep the ball on the ground and pass it around and go out all guns blazing and kept those guns blazing until we had 5 then he would be a silly man and I don't believe that he is
I just hope your right Lee about MM
Brilliant performance and result, really pleased for you guys, Lee Boro Fan
Thanks Lee best of luck I think you might just pip Sheffield United to the automatic spot 🙂👍🏻
I had the same relationship with my Dad well done for getting through that lovely words Lee ❤️
Yep since he died in 2011 I have read them many times I didn't quite get through it without cracking up on the day but I can now. I do a lot of this so he can watch it and make him proud of me
Lovely story Lee. But the game was unbelievable. I’m still buzzing.
So am I but I am just hoping it spurs us on to be the team we know they are capable of being
I feel like the team talk was Mick hooking up his laptop to the big telly and playing them your passionate words!
It would be nice if that was the case. It probably wasn't but I will believe it was because they did everything I said
Last night was My dads first game since 2012, he isn’t a Blackpool fan but would take me to games because i was, I grew up and he didn’t have to take me anymore, what a game! 🧡
Well you better get him there for every game in the run in he is obvs a 'lucky charm'
@@LeeCharlesTV I said that to him lol 😆
🤣😂
What a fucking game
Exactly and great use of the word 'fucking'
You love your club you say wot you like , from a Sunderland AFC supporter.
Absolutely Paul but it's probably best to make sure I'm factually correct before I go off on one 😉🤣
Well done guys, you deserve it. Brilliant intro from you Lee too😀
Thanks so much Harvey really appreciate it 🙂👍🏻
What a result for you guys! Hopefully that'll build some confidence and get you out of that drop zone!🍊🍊

Thanks for sticking with us Gary you loon!🤣 I so much don't want us to go down for flipping Roy and you and the gang never mind myself
Powerful stuff from Lee Charles. Please can you have a rant before every game from now on?
I'd prefer to be more Churchillian and inspirational than ranting tbh but that was definitely required after Bristol City
Fantastic result! Hope you stay up.
Up the Boro!
I hope so too! thanks so much SIRDKA 🙂👍🏼
What a night!! Bout time we showed that passion and belief!! Everything from the goals to the tribute to Tony Johnson everything was great! Lets take this momentum into Saturday lads UTMP!! 🔥🔥🔥
Exactly Peter!!! 💯
We can do,it..the Yates penalty was taken with the attitude we must adopt ..fearless and determined to win at any cost UTMP..Let’s get back to the days when teams feared a trip to Bloomfield Rd…
Yes we were discussing the pressure on Jerry at that moment especially when he missed the last one. It was a brilliant penalty
Good man Lee best of luck from a Middlesbrough lad
Thank Geoff and best of luck to Boro you Pip those Blades for us they destroyed our season at Bramhall Lane it would feel like a bit of karma tbh
@@LeeCharlesTV Missed a good opportunity against Stoke who look a good strong side we had an of day but still 9 games to go will look out for your results best of luck
And me yours we have said if you don't get automatic and its the playoffs we would love to join you guys in an end of season special 😉🙂
Wish I had have said that in the meeting that's perfect and quite right Mia 🤣😂
I am happy you got a win you deserve it
Aw thanks James really appreciate it 🙂👍🏼🧡
wow you had me welling up nearly there Lee with your story about your dad.
Would do fans and players’ confidence the world of good
They have just equalised if it stays 1-1 they will be 4 ahead 😕
@@LeeCharlesTV ahh right yeah just seen now full time, I didn’t realise they were playing tonight to be fair
yes I could tell you didn't shame that but 1 point is still doable seeing as we have to play them here yet...we can do this!!
I don't know about playing your rant to the players Lee but he should definitely play them the start of this video as your story of your Dad really spells it out what it means to be a football supporter.
yes it was meant to hit home and I am glad it is achieving that
Hi lee/jane

Yes exactly right we don't defend well but we look different class when we attack, we have the players, the pace and the trickery to do it so DO IT Blackpool and boy did they last night. That was a huge RESULT 😁👍🏻
Well dun Blackpool I was gobsmacked each time it came up in latest scores 6-1 see there's still hope for yous, just hope we have a good result tonight chasing those top 6 cmonnnn

It was nice to be smiling again we had almost forgotten what to do or say at the end?🤣😂 we had a great time in Teesside lovely people, great place we will be back one day 🙂👍🏻🧡
Hi Lee l had a weird dream last night that Blackpool won 6-1, well done, Blackpool are staying up and Boro are going up.
That is weird we all had the exact same dream over here🤫 nah? it couldn't have? could it?
I too have heard that about the weights I am pretty sure you are spot on 🙂👍🏼
The words hit home Lee for a lot of fans , you just can't support any other team, it hurt when you don't get the results you want, you never know this result, what a great end of season it could be, leaving Nigeria tomorrow for home in the Boro , looking forward to seeing my team on Saturday against PNE, good luck I hope you do it
Hope you beat the nobbers this year last year they knocked you out of a chance in the play-offs just please stuff 'em 🙏
@LeeCharlesTV hope so Lee, good luck against Coventry
Extraordinary night for many reasons, I didn’t know you Tony but RIP 🍊
I didn't know him either Nicholas but very sad to head out to a football match and never return RIP🧡
@@LeeCharlesTV and so you should

It'll be a good atmosphere there 4000 travelling sky blue army
yes it is going to be something because there will be a lot more Blackpool there after Tuesday than there would have been, You are loud and so are WE it will be something else
MM has had to change tactics(why has it taken so long?) and the senior players and yourself Lee have forced that with their 'chat' after the last game, plus your video will have definitely touched a nerve.
Long may it continue.🧡⚽
I believe it was 'just me' but I know it would have been the senior players 'chat' in reality (and a bit of me 😁)
It was a good result for Blackpool last night when they won 6 - 1 against QPR at home and I think Blackpool will get a result against Coventry City at home this weekend lee and Jane
Hope so 🙏

Yes it was and RIP Tony and thoughts with his family
Hi lee, great video as always, I am absolutely over the moon with the result and if we keep playing like this, we could stay up what do you think of Mick McCarthy? Will he keep us up?
On Sunday I was thinking we are down after Bristol City that was truly one of the worst performances I have ever watched and then 3 days later I'm starting to think we might still survive as that was one of the best performances I have seen in ages. So who knows?
much deserved win
indeed Sean
you'd hate to hear it but it would be funny if this is blackpool's last win of the season 😂
your father was a wise man, i really wish i could have the footballing start like you did, watching football back in the days. it's a bit different now.
Three Dean and we are still in it. 9 cup finals to play now
@@LeeCharlesTV i am a chelsea fan, but always have a soft spot for Blackpool and lived in the area twice. But I really hope the team stays up and gets back into the premier league.
Thanks Dean what we did in 2010 was a miracle it would take a lot of luck and a coming together of some extraordinary coincidences that aligned themselves with a moon off Jupiter or something for that to ever happen again. For now staying up would be a miracle at this present moment in time 🙏
@@LeeCharlesTV well it's an example of what can be achieved.
Good luck guys, hope you avoid relegation, the grace with which you accept defeat is a credit to your club. Boro fan
Thanks Jenny I fear that is not going to happen we look nailed on and in need of a miracle sadly. It ain't over yet but my gosh it looks grim. All the best to Boro
Thanks Lee and commiserations for your father's passing and apologies for not stating that first.
told u morgan rogers should be playing lol
yes he is class and hopefully with a run will get better, its time to play your best team MM and we may have just found it in the nick of time
Let’s hope you used up the goals against qpr good luck 😉 PUSB
We are hoping that we have finally found our shooting boots😉 it will be interesting and there will be a lot more there on Saturday than there would have been if we had played like we did against Bristol. May the best team WIN 🙂👍🏼
good win u 2 from a blade 👌
Cheers Chris appreciate it...what's going on there? are you throwing automatic away? you've got Hudds, Wigan, Cardiff and Birmingham to play yet so get your frickin' acts together we need you FGS
@@LeeCharlesTV been rubbish since World cup break even when we was winning it wasn't pretty to watch tbh I think Middlesbrough will catch us how we are playing its going round heckingbottom has lost dressing room
Good result for you last night keep it going and beat those teams I mentioned for us please 🙏🏻
@@LeeCharlesTV we will if he picks the right team up next Blackburn quater finals fa cup utb
Keep taking the statins guys, well done, you're staying up.
Not counting our chickens yet but that was an incredible win for a team 3rd off the bottom...fingers crossed 🤞🏼
Imagine if you stay up and we could go up
I do imagine it and hope it happens Ryan
We have not been in the top flight since 1961
@@LeeCharlesTV fancy meeting up with me April 1st
Ah I was thinking you were Boro Ryan we haven't decided yet if we are just going to do a watchalong it was horrendous last season with all the being held back for over an hour etc
Yo lee did you see all the orange flares it was crazy
Erm it's on the video 😉
Did this match remind you of Birmingham last season?
Yes the scoreline was incredibly similar 🙂👍🏻
7-1 vs birmingham
It was 6-1? or is that a 1-7 prediction?
Have you only got one song ? Like a dirge
Yeah when we score that's the song we sing. Unfortunately for you on this occasion we had to sing it six times plus we have even added 2 extra bits of torture for you to endure as we also sang it at the end and also for the fan that died. Glad to hear you've suffered 🤪🤪
Two Max Jaffas on 3 mins 15 secs
Maybe one day the penny will drop that we play in...er...now what do they call it? Ooh its on the tip of my tongue? Oh yes that's it...TANGERINE 🍊🟠🟧🧡🍊🟠
@@LeeCharlesTV Good win that Max, but is it only a temporary stay of execution ? Just think next season the local games you’ll have, Morecambe, Fleetwood, Accrington, Wigan, Bolton, Mablethorpe,
@@antonyware9887 ah now I get it you're 'Gypsy Antony with the huge Crystal Ball' why didn't I figure that out earlier 🤣
@@LeeCharlesTV strange comment that Max.
@@LeeCharlesTV oh I see ! That’s a reference to the clubs you’ll be playing . Well, it’s a reasonable assumption, don’t you think. Of course Morecambe could go down, but Barrow could come up.
Blackpool arnt going anywhere get a result against Coventry and anything can happen,I've seen blackpoool score 7 at home against Halifax and I've seen us concede 7 at Barnet,#utmp
Im hoping they are going somewhere and that's up the league to somewhere a bit safer 🙂🙏🏻 I wasn't here with the 20K? (I think that's the figure bandied about now?🤣) at Barnet but Jane was. I think I was at the Halifax game though and I was thinking Port Vale away was 7 (with Paul Stewart) but I'm starting to think that was 6 now? either way that was a day I will never forget. First time dad and I had ever been to Port Vale and we didn't know Port Vale was in Stoke that was in the days before Google Maps
These Blackpool fans going on like they won the league still a tinpot club not even good enough for the championship let alone the prem
Going on like we actually won a game and won it 6-1 don't be a smart ass
Middlesbrough still beat you so ha ha
Cheers for that Simon and we usually love everyone from Middlesbrough even if you have beaten us twice 🤣 (ah well)
I think you have earned the title of smug smoggie.
And you’re still getting relegated, looking forward to giving you a great send off on the 1st🥰
Bring it on Harry
Been subbed for a while now and love your passion, you’ve been through some torrid times this season and I hope ( and do believe ) that mick Mac will keep yous up, maybes with the help of readings point deduction. I was in the away end at Bloomfield on New Year’s Day supporting safc was a great atmosphere, good luck from a Sunderland fan 🔴⚪️🟠
The true supporter in me hopes we don't have to rely on Reading getting a point deduction tbh (I hate points deductions because they punish us the fans the most for things we can't control) so I hope we dig ourselves out of it by fighting our way out
