      It's so nice right! I will do some research about the area and the beaches and the sands today and discuss it more in today's video too. Thanks for watching!

    Breakfast in hotels sucks because they allocate lower cost of food to make it.

    • @JennandLeon
      @JennandLeon  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah but I think it depends on the hotel! We've had some really great breakfasts. This one was just very very limited.

    Soon starlink will be used in Malaysia. Those in villages will get better speed.

    • @JennandLeon
      @JennandLeon  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it's so great! In rural areas of Canada the internet speeds suffer too! So we were really excited to get the speeds in Canada too! I lived in the countryside in Canada and when Leon first came to Canada with me he was shocked at the slower speeds. ha!

    How you guys finance travelling ?

    • @JennandLeon
      @JennandLeon  ปีที่แล้ว

      In a few different ways. However its been really expensive! ha In April 2021 I (Jenn) quit my job, sold most of my stuff (or put in storage) and travelled on savings etc (Leon had already rented out his house in England prior and done similar to come to Canada to be with me 1 year prior) Over the last year and a bit we both have a flexible schedule to teach english online. It doesn't pay much but helps us from going broke! ha This summer/fall we are focusing on TH-cam to see if we can get this going a little more to help supplement our travels as it isn't cheap and we also have other big projects we want to accomplish that the exposure here will help with.

      @@JennandLeon compared to Europe and north america, south east asia is the cheaper region to increase viewers or subscribers. It also depends where you stay and what you eat of course but way cheaper than North america or Europe.

      @@JennandLeon in uk, one bloody cup of coffee is 4 pounds. That is 24 ringgit. I can eat 3 meals in Malaysia. I did not touch Switzerland yet.

    • @JennandLeon
      @JennandLeon  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@keangwooichoo6138 Yes that's true but TH-cam pays differently depending on where the viewers are watching from. So for example in Indonesia the average pay per 1k views rate is like $2.50 usd (if the views come from Indonesia) however if the viewers are from Mexico the view per 1k rate is $22.00usd and it varies based upon where the viewers live so some places in easter asia require 15-20x the amount of views as a video with predominantly a USA watch base. Business wise/monetary and sustainability wise it's not the smartest way to go about TH-cam if you're in it for that reason! But we're in it for travel and culture and the love of our planet and it's people! We will do some business videos in the future to help people with this stuff too! I (Jenn) love to research so I've learned a lot about it all.
