for me the flex is way better, the f7 just felt tight all around and i felt the contact more, i think the f7's are more built for a tall/slender head whereas the flex is different. i play safety and linebacker btw and a bit of receiver
My head is big & fat but the f7 fits snug it’s just you feel everything in the helmet. When you run, for me when I’m kickstepping. Whereas the flex, everything is smooth & I don’t feel nothing.

Where do you even get speedflex
I play over in Australia, and ive been wearing second hand schutts for EVER, i definitely get what you mean about the sweat thing! I play Right Tackle. I think you may have sold me on the Riddell. I also recently spray painted a bunch of helmets for the boys and as much as the shutts were EASIER to take apart and paint, the level of padding and comfort in the riddells made up for it i think.
I spray painted my speedflex black since I work at a paint store. It’s cool having 2 separate kinds of helmets to see the comfort, padding and durability of the helmet. Being comfortable and looking good play a part with me. Glad I could help in your decision

As a cb I feel much safer in the f7 and that’s coming from someone who has worn both

My son will be a freshman in high school this fall...he's been wearing a speedflex but the school issues F7s. He plays CB and rotates at TB. What makes you feel safer rocking the F7?
Ong my speedflex is so damn comfy, having it in feels better than off
I play oline and dline, I’ve worn both helmets and the speedflex is my favorite i don’t feel then contact and the helmet is very comfortable
For sure is comfortable. I sold my F7 2 months ago but am thinking about buying another because I miss just having both
As a Tight End I prefer the Speedflex since my position is really mixed they work the same for me so then it came down to which one looked cooler which I choose the speedflex.
Speedflex does look cooler but that F7 and the old school look has been having me wearing my F7 for 9 of my 11 games so far
@@jayyericjr The F7 look has kinda grown on me I think im gonna wear the F7 2.0 in my upcoming season. also I found out why the f7 fits tight its because it runs a half inch shorter, also what team do u play for?

I’ve put on a speed flex before practice cause my friend let me, it was so comfortable I’ll probably go with speed flex

I got a question so when you get hit, which helmet do you feel the hit the most in? And which do you feel is safer
You feel the hit more in a F7. A speedflex has so much more padding and cushion it’s underrated

Which Helmet is lighter, specifically for a Receiver and cornerback/free safety type player. With a small head and slender body?
f7 speedflex will look wide on you’re head. and since you’re slender the f7 is also lighter, f7 the goat
I got both a play DE and i prefer the speedflex too

Great choice, it’s comfortable, it’s protective and best of all it looks great on any position player. I’m a left tackle that helmet is beautiful.
I wore the speed flex for one year I liked it but I like the F7 more because it is a little more protective and I don’t really like the cam loc that much
I feel you bro. You know you can take the cam lock system off and put the regular chin strap on right
Yeah you can but the F7 it’s it has more safety than the flex and I feel like the F7 fits me a bit better than a speed flex
@@sr1gloves726 F7 feels good and has more safety and stuff for contact but the speedflex to me fits like a glove and that cushion is life and helps suction the sweat
The thing with the flex is that your have to wash the liner every like 2 weeks because but what I really like about the F7 is that after you use it I grab a towel and clean the sweat of the helmet boom good for next time I use it
So in middle school I had a speed and it wasn’t the best as when I hit someone I felt everything with it but I’m fortunate to be at a good funded school with speed flex and f7 for freshmen I got the speed flex and this is the first time I’m wearing a speed flex
i’m a Safety and a WR, i’m considering the speed flex , but i heard its harder to see.
Gotta make sure you get the right size helmet. Heads are circumferenced different for helmet so you can be a large in one and a medium in another. Like I feel i can fit a large in a speedflex but i have a XL

I would recommend the Speedflex but the F7 could be good for you as well. You see alot of WRs these days wear F7s and alot of RBs wear Speedflexes. It’s your call brother but I say Speedflex
As i linebacker I personally prefer tha f7, I currently own both helmets and feel better in tha f7. I feel like it looks cooler as well as being lighter and comfortable. Just my opinion tho
It is lighter I will give you that. It’s comfortable somewhat but I still prefer the Speedflex lol. I’m in the process of trying to get another speedflex instead of my F7

I have one more question - which helmet heats up faster from the sun? i mean which paint - matte or gloss?
bcs i need black helmet and i think matte black - very strongly absorbs the heat of the sun, so that the head can be fried inside in summer...
Our black helmets are matte black, our blue helmets are a metallic blue. I ain’t gonna lie the speedflex absorbs heat because of all the padding and the F7 just has the sweat dripping down your face. I wear bandanas, durags or a head cap when i wear a helmet so it can stop some of the sweat. Our last 5 games have been in 90+ degree weather so yeah
where did you buy your speedflex i have been looking for ever and cant find it all the other ones dont have a ratchet chin strap wich is the one i am currently looking for

You can also get one from "green-gridiron”you can customize your a helmet and theh will build it and if you ask them I think they will make a TH-cam video building your helmet

Your F7 too small, it's sitting to high up on your head from the look of the video; you probably need the X-Large plus F7.
You probably right, hopefully after this season we go back to using just 1 (black) helmet so I can sell my F7. Great look but I ain’t into it.
