I love the new ost! The constant beeping at the beginning really fit the feeling to start up your run and the pause when the core explodes with the electric sounds really makes the climax at the end come to a nice and energetic closure. The alarm sounds that begin when the first wall arrives also really add the feeling that you need to hurry or you’ll die.
i must be high on something to think of this… somehow, i think the map infiltration has some connections with this map. the map name “infiltration” indicates we are, well, infiltrating into something. what thing? i think to this map. infiltration’s end area resembles a doorway, and the entrance of central mass array also resembles a doorway. this lead me to think that we are actually sneaking in this map in the “infiltration”(for whatever reason), only to see the facility is out of control and we’re escaping. theres probably this one thing that doesnt make sense: why central mass array is built in the middle of nothing but hills and cliffs
The lore of CMA unfortunately is that it takes place in the year 2199, and basically shuts down the power on the entire world, and the city you're in, so it cannot be taking place in infiltration, due to CMA being in night time, and infiltration in day time
Yes first hyperspace, then the OST you were talking about but now this OST. It's fitting to the gameplay. The first section turns the OST to an epic one. And the core aswell. The music syncs with the core exploding. Whoever made this OST, they did a great job
