The MORR guys are use to wheeling on the sandpaper in Utah where every tire feels like a sticky red krawler .. Tennessee slick trails are a whole different game! Trail 21 is no joke , props to anybody with limited eastern off-roading experience getting on those ledges.
Hes used to sticky rocks and sand and he's out here wheeling on Vaseline 😅 I know the clay around here is pretty slick when it's wet
You haven't seen the bits where the Banana & Morrvair get calls to go get buggies and sidebysides out of the SandHollow desert dunes?
@@gordonmurray3153 each terrain has its own challenges. Mud, clay, sand, slippery rocks, hot rocks, snow, ice, water all present their own difficulties that need different techniques and even set up to tackle.
@@gordonmurray3153 I’m betting 99% of the people that watch B.J also watch MORR , so yeah we’ve seen his recoveries back in Utah , what’s that have to do with this?
@@adamradley4407 yeah, I kinda pick up that same vibe from the videos and loads of the comments from Matt Wetzel, and eg Casey LaDelle, Rory Irish, Hollie on Mischief Maker TV, Eric on BSF Recovery Team, Kevin and Brittany on Lite Brite Nation and say Heavy D Sparks too.
Here in Scotland where I live, driving in less than perfect road conditions, walking in dodgey conditions underfoot, is pretty much what we do.

I live in eastern Ky, just hours away from windrock, we know the slick wheeling, it is the most awesome ride thru creeks, mountains, and rocks ❤️❤️❤️
The “Versus” channel is a cool idea. The cheap truck/Jeep stuff is super relatable to the common folk.
The Morvair did pretty good on those Tennessee trails. Especially since the MORR guys never done that type of off-roading before.
We clear trails of downed trees on the regular up here north of 49⁰. A chainsaw is standard wheeling equipment.
It’s ok Skeeter. A fire extinguisher 🧯 is standard equipment on all Bleepin builds. Along with a giant box of bandaids 🩹 and a cooler of Dr. 🌶. And in extreme circumstances we have HOPE on speed dial.
The arborists are going to want you to put the dead trees back up

Weigel's is pretty great. I've noticed that pretty much every single one is unique. Like the really classic-looking one between Kingston and Oak Ridge on 95. I'm excited about the Versus channel. Josh sure knows how to shred an axle.
I was amused by the "Maverik of Knoxville" comment. Though I've been gone awhile I try to hit Weigel's when I'm through.
On the next episode, Matt installs rear steering and the buggy gets tires.

Every now and then watching these videos I think that Matt is not wrapped real tight. Having said that he knows how to have fun. Back in the day we used to Carry a couple of tire patches called a Baja boot. You had to break down a tire to install it but it beat walking out.
I no for a fact that Matt has let this shit go to his head! Grew up with other friends of his, can't say any names because they have a channel also, I don't care, but I was told this 5 mouth's ago, now look at what he is doing?

I now live in lower Alabama on the Gulf Coast. Since 2007. The very long summers here are brutal. Nothing but very hot, and extreme humidity all day every day. I love the outdoors but this place makes it miserable to be outside. And don't forget the 50 types of flying biting insects that drive ya crazy. Yellow flies, horse flies, mosquitoes, no see ums, and list goes on and on. Good grief.
@@funkymedina2974 I lived in Columbia SC and went to Ft. Jackson alot. I know all to well about chiggers. Especially around the top of your sock area. That place is almost as bad as here. It starts sooner here and last lo ger is the only real difference
Yeah, I never understood why people retire to Florida or Gulf shores It's miserable in those states. Went to Disneyworld years ago & when we weren't soaking wet with sweat, we were wet from the 10 surprise showers a day!

That horrible sound in the Grand Cherokee sounded like my old CJ when it had a slipping chain in the transfer case. Not sure if that one has a chain driven or gear driven transfer case . Great video!

Windhoek doesn't care about that... those trees were down already. We usually bring a chainsaw when we ride the trails to help keep them cleaned off.
