There are many different kinds of pickle, and they all are pretty interchangeable and more or less do the same thing. You can use any of them for all non-ferrous metals (karat gold and silver). I've talked to a fair amount of jewelers and everyone seems to have their own favorite brand or home made recipe so I encourage folks to try a few and see what they like best. But you only need 1 :)
@@suebland14 One of the more popular home made versions is about a cup of white vinegar and a teaspoon of salt, warmed. It's not as effective but it is cheap and a good way to get started without having to commit to a larger order of pickle solution.
