Today I'm suffering from depression because I feel that I was left behind by everything. Then I just found out that Jesus is disciplining me and He wants me to learn something. One month ago today, May 20th around 10pm, I was on the floor of the bathroom at Brenners Childrens Hospital sobbing and praying as I listened to this song. My 5 year old was suffering from unexplained seizures every 10 to 20 minutes. I've been in some tough situations, but I was completely broken. I remember thinking, "God, you didn't make me a strong mom. You didn't give me what it takes to handle this." Every breathe I took felt like acid in my lungs. I have never cried so hard in my life. I was constantly playing back J's voice asking me to help him, to fix his hand, to just help him be normal again. I knew full well that so many parents have gone through heartbreak of losing their children. I felt selfish for praying, selfish for wanting our normal life back. I remember telling God that I couldn't do it. It felt as though my body would literally give up if anything happened to J. The lyrics, "give me faith to trust what you say, that you're good and your love is great. I'm broken inside, I give you my life. I surrender" felt like daggers in my heart. I wanted that faith, but I just didn't have it. Every day since then I have listened to this song. That night I remember praying over Jameson. Up until that point, I was selfishly trying to keep my son, to keep and protect both my boys. Keep them from anyone who tried to take them, including God. I refused to let Him take them. As the lyrics played over and over again, day after day, my heart began to understand that to fully surrender, I had to surrender control. I had to believe that He had a plan. I had to believe that there was a reason. I had to understand that Jameson was God's long before he was ever mine. If anyone is going through a hard time, please know that even when you feel weak, broken, or dead inside God is still there. He will listen to your cries. He will hear your pleading. He understands your pain. He won't forsake you in your time of trouble. Man, I'll be honest, God heard some not so nice things from me yet He never stopped listening. He won't stop listening to you either. If you dont mind, please pray for our son Jameson's health and healing. (JUNE 20,2022)

It was 4 years ago, I went up on stage at my youth group and shared my story. Shared hundreds youth and leaders that I grew up in abusive household, never knew the meaning of what a loving father was. All I knew was a father that had hatred towards me and threw blame at me for him and my mom divorcing. Shared with them the rape stories, shared with them that I was only 12 and was sexually assaulted by my uncle. Shared with them all the abusive relationships I endured and left with the love of God overpowering them. I started attending that youth group a couple months after 12 and have been attending church 9 years now. I can't ever explain how amazing life is now with Christ guiding me through the up's and the downs.

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
And now, after all those years. I lead the worship team in songs that can change people's lives just like it changed mine. I feel like you can get lost in God's love through worship and some people find it easier to do it that way and just speak to God through worship.

A few weeks ago, God put something on my heart for me to do. It didn’t make any sense to me and I knew nobody around me was going to think it made sense either. I sat in my car shaking my head looking down repeating “I don’t get, I don’t get it.” I then look up to the sky and yell “God I don’t understand” And in the most stern and calming voice he spoke “I know. But I do.”
4 hours later in church the sermon brought me to tears. The pastor spoke that God doesn’t always make sense to us. That God may put things in our heart that confuse us. And when that happens Something inside of us is going to scream “I don’t get it” and we won’t always understand.
Thank you Lord for being so prevalent in my life. I can’t wait to continue to serve you and bring others closer to you! ❤️

if you have the time, i’d like to ask for your prayers. not for me, but my boyfriend. he’s not really a believer, but this past sunday i actually got him to go to church with me. i’ve never pressured him though. growing up, he only ever saw the negative in christianity because of how his dad was. he’s turned around quite a bit, gone from absolutely hating god to opening up his mind & leaning towards it, because i’ve shown him the positives. but he still struggles with believing. i just ask that someone help me, pray with me that he sees the truth & gains a strong sense of faith. he’s been prophesied over, that his gift in music be used for god’s glory. & i’ve been called into ministry, & even though he’s not really a believer i’ve always felt like he’s supposed to do big things with me, for god. i just know he will find his way to god, but he needs help, so please pray. i want to marry him & i want him to love god more before i do. if you’ve read this far, thank you ❤️ god is good, bless you

I will pray for you and him. Many have a misconception. I can date a non-Christian... I can “Save them”. The Truth; We are called not to date/ be with anyone who doesn’t believe. You might be able to be his friend. But romantic things mess up motives. He needs to seek God because he wants to know Him. Not so it will make you happy. I had a big problem getting in the way of God dealing with people and drawing them. I needed to stand back and not rescue. We can’t save them. But we are called to be a witness ( how we live, act, talk) that is your most powerful witness your life lived for Jesus and not for yourself. This guy needs time to want this for himself. And then be discipled by other young men of God. Pray seek His face and trust God that He can Save this man.
I feel with you. I have a friend who is the first in my life showing me unconditional love. His love reminds me of the love a father would give to his child. Unconditional and caring. It feels like it is God giving me love trough him. I hope one day he will realise that God is already working trough him. I hope he finds truth in that to. ❤ be blessed

Thanks it's so very painful suffering 😭 I'm really broken 😭💔 too many years suffering from severe mental illness and so desperate for a healthy mind and body and spirit I feel so let down by God. I've sobbed for years face down and grieving loss 😞 and grieving loss of life without mental illness and torment in my mind that affects everything my ability to live, laugh, my marriage, relationships, weight, work ability, finances etc etc and i repented surrendered so many times and somehow I'm still here but still suffering 😢😢it is so painful 😢and isolating and dark and invisible illnesses but my daughter is 3 years old and I'm trying to keep going for her

When I heard this song years ago at a youth retreat I was a very depressed 17 year old living with his parents being recently divorced and a alcoholic parent and was mad at the world and didn’t believe. When I heard this song it spoke to me personally and I broke down and never looked back! Now I’m a worship leader at my church helping bring others to Christ through worship. God is good!

Please pray for me. I was just hit with the hardest challenges in my life and in my marriage. I always thought that I had super strong faith but I can feel it fading away. I know God will never leave me, but for once I feel alone like no matter how many times I pray for light at the end of the tunnel, it keeps getting darker. I feel my faith and strength slipping away from me. I use to think my prayers could move mountains but I'm not so sure anymore

I've been really struggling these days. My dad passed away last June.
And since then, thing were never the same. I don't know if I could ever have the strength to keep moving. I don't know if I could ever heal from the pain.
And moreover, I feel really really scared.
I'm praying that God helps you with what you are dealing with but I know in my heart that you will get through this don't ever let your self be hopeless because your not god is with you god has felt every pain you have felt and I am so sorry what has happened as I am writing this I am in tears because I know when that day happens to my dad I will feel probably the same way as you but I know that I have to always get my self up again and not fall down because God is with us and God wants us to be strong when we are struggling and when life is getting hard that God just wants you to pray to him what you are dealing with so he can help but I forgot where this verse is from the bible but I think it is Romans 12:15 but it says *"Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep".That verse helps me because I know that when I cry out and also pray to go with tears that I'm not alone there is also people crying out as well. Again sending love and prayers your way hopefully everything becomes better 💕❤️

I need faith everyday, I have a eye disease that makes my eyes go blind, I had surgery that didn’t fix it, it just stoped it and my eye sight is so bad that glasses don’t help me see, and the only thing that works is RPG lenses but they are very painful to wear. I been praying for total healing in my eyes. It’s hard trusting some days. But we have a powerful God I know one day in his time my eyes will be heeled. This song is so encouraging. 🙌🏻❤️
