Jesse's (Jason James Richter) foster parents Glen (Michael Madsen) and Annie (Jayne Atkinson) get into an argument after Jesse comes home late. Jesse then opens up his welcome home gift, and feels guilty because he thinks that he caused them to lash out at each other. He then throws his baseball through the window in anger because of being upset and scared that his foster parents were fighting. Glen then tells Jesse that even though adults can argue sometimes, it doesn't mean that anything bad is gonna happen.

When you realize that Jesse is basically had been an orphan and living on his own for so long, all he wants is a family that he can rely on.
He had that with Glen and Annie
I love it when Jesses reads the card and realizes Annie and Glenn love him and want him in their home and lives.
"I heard you guys fighting. You scared me." Every child's worst nightmare 😢
I do not like arguments 😢
@@ryanward652 Neither do I
@@ryangomez2093 But at least they made it up to each other 😇
@@ryanward652 Yeah you got that right
@@ryanward652Me too. Can’t stand it
Jesse, adults argued sometimes, but that doesn't mean that everybody gets hurt.
💖🥰💖
@@burleyant274How sweet! 😇
I remember this moment for the last 25 years and nothing never changed
I I got my wish I'm very happy to have a new dad I know a lot of people are out there struggling with this. That makes me sick to my stomach. Always deserved better families no matter where we come from I got my wish I'm happy I have a new family friends I stayed with since school and I still have my mom and my new dad that makes me a free man.
I hate arguments.😠
Me too! 😠
Same here!😠
@@JonathanCline24But at least they made it up to each other
My BF doesn't like it when his parents get into arguments occasionally. His friend's parents got divorced and so did my parents. He feels like it's going to happen to him too. Just because your parents are arguing that doesn't mean it's going to lead to divorce like it did with your loved ones.
@@meganbateman5634 I can see that.
Did they ever fix the window🤪
I have not yet gotten up the courage to watch the fighting part, but I rewatched the part where Annie and Glenn come in and comfort Jesse. I very clearly remember Glenn saying "You know, Jesse, sometimes when adults fight, they say things that they don't really mean." Then goes on to tell Jesse that he would never hurt Annie or him. Funny how we remember things differently in childhood. I like that he says grownups Argue, (not fight), sometimes but that doesn't mean anyone's going to get hurt. That is an important message. Anyway, thank you for uploading this scene.
Jesse decided to break the bedroom window with the baseball when he decided to separate Glen and Annie from the lash-out at each other argument fights.
Breaking a window cost $2500
@@JonathanCline24 It did.
@@mbart5113 more than that
@@mbart5113 well thousands of dollars
@@JonathanCline24 The bank had been there to that much money.
Annie’s shocked look @ :19 is priceless as Glenn hollers at Jesse as Jesse comes in. Hey, we adults may argue sometimes, but still-Jesse, upon hearing Glenn:”I’d like to give him a PUSH RIGHT OUT THE DOOR!” wouldn’t that scare anyone, hey-even make them mad, just as Annie exclaims:”Hey! You mustn’t say things like that!” Glenn;”Why? Does it make you mad?” Annie:”Yes, it makes me mad! It didn’t help when you used those negative words and tone with him when he came home!” Glenn:”Well, he’s driving me crazy! What else do you expect?” eventually leading to Glenn telling Annie he’s content with just the two of them and Jesse all like “That does it!” as he sends the baseball crashing through the window(which, even though this happens from inside the house, is your typical side effect of baseball games-a baseball crashing through a window, during a recreational game of baseball.)
SAD FREE WILLY (1993 ) FILM - GLEN AND ANNIE'S ARGUMENT SCENE !!!!
נעם לייט
I never understood this scenario as a child but now at 32 it hits me hard
That was a little extreme.
I love movies, shes a teacher and he’s a car repair shop owner…which must be the only one in town to afford that house 😂
“Just you and me “ I wonder if there was some other story behind that, like they tried to have a child, but something went wrong. 1:25
Jesse that window cost $2500
Free willy worldwide aduces loved the film very much besides the United States
I get into arguments before
Goes to show you that having a child means you got to explain everything to them. I’m guessing before Jesse came into their lives they might have been arguing a lot more frequently.
That’s not Glen… That’s Mr.Blonde!
Wham-O!
JESSE YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN ADULTS ARGUE SO.ETIMES
He was scared, I believed that he probably witnessed his mom fighting with people and some probably got violent, and I think that argument was a bad reminder
@@meganbateman5634Exactly! Trauma like that is very mentally disturbing believe me!
