Jack has brought not just himself but the profile of Enduro and its riders to a higher level. Who doesn’t love the man who is NEVER on time- Steevoooo! 😂❤🌈🕊🌍
What an absolute Legend of the sport! Always happy to have a chat with the fans, pretty easy going character and can ride. Plus Moi Moi TV really brought another level of coverage to Enduro. Well done Jack!
I hope everyone already knows this but Jack is an absolute ANIMAL on a bike. Riding at his local parks and trails, seeing the training days he does on his channel and the speed he hits the trails is mindblowing. It’s easy to think these guys are good on bikes, but they’re superhuman.
What a great interview! Thanks for all those great insights. Was already a big Jack Moir fan but am really impressed how genuine, thoughtful and honest you are! Just ordered my first MoiMoi TV T- Shirt online and will wear it shredding through Glenrock 🤙
I can confirm it! I met Jack last year at the EWS in Loudenvielle , had a quick chat with him too! He's so kind and truly respect his fans! @@downtimepodcast
Amazing guy, and yeah 100% agree Enduro has suffered this season from a fan's perspective. and yeah I wish there were separate recaps for the e-bikes as well . Another amazing interview!
Great interview. I can't believe someone hasn't sponsored moi moi tv yet! And why is it tough times for the bike industry. Bike prices are through the roof, here in Australia at least.
Healing involves mental healing. Burnout happens folks. College d1 athletes even take time off for rest and mental recovery. Plus the body needs that long rest otherwise your next season could be plagued with overuse injury. This surfing is such a great cross sport for anything and conquering the Oregon wave. Ya more like one wave followed by 45 minutes of pummeling trying to get back out.
The last 1% needs to come from where it’s going to come from. In other words, if the Process leads to a 5% improvement in the rider because they’ve left 1% on the bike set-up on the ‘table’ and chasing down the bike set-up 1% looses that 5% in the rider, the correct way forward is obvious. It’s like weight:- the effective weight weenie is the overweight under muscled guy who improves diet and training and leaves the bike alone; 500gms saved all round on the bike is, frankly, proportionately trivial. The key in MTB competition is always the rider once the components are decent. Once the rider has got near the podium with attention focused on themselves, then they’ll be within a second or less over 3 to 4 minutes. THEN, as long as it doesn’t lead to OCD destroying performance, a few grams here and a single psi there or a mm on the bars or the stack is worth the big chase.

I totally agree

Great podcast, Jack & Wyn should be the main media coverage for dh & Enduro especially when they decide to stop racing
they are already crushing it while they are racing too!
Chris and Jack, this is brilliant. Thanks both of you!

Got an episode about why the bike industry is struggling coming up real soon...
I’m surprised YT don’t cover it. The amount of coverage YT has gotten from moimoi is crazy. Especially when covering DH events as well.
