My six-year-old daughter has pretty much the same condition as Fraser. I hope she will be able to go through education system and her future life with eye gaze communication.

the eyes are a window to the soul. The eyes are so closely tied to the brain that despite not having control of his vocal cords Fraser has enough control of his gaze dwell that he can select from a 10x10 grid on a small screen. With practice on software designed the right way that's potentially quicker than typing individual letters on a keyboard like you and me
