Super ships are so bad for the game. It feels like selling frustration as a concept. T11 should never meet t9/10. In its own category it could be fun, however currently it's ruining two of the most enjoyable tiers for majority for the benefit of the few.
But the super ships do save tier VIII. Super ships may actually be better in co-op. Not that the bots in super ships are any better than other bots, but if only one or two human players are on the team and they have super ships, all of the bots will be in super ship and you have an all super ship battle
The reason WG release OP lines with the best ships at the end of it is this reason. The reason they release resource ships that are better than normal ships is this reason. The reason power creep exists is to keep you grinding for the next "meta" ship. You already knew they sold this as a concept. It's just that this is too much for you.
well, after only 21 battles I already have exp. record of all account (3700 b.exp) (i have total 12k+ battles) on Annapolis (and 128k average damage compare only 82k average damage on Des Moines). So for me it is by far the best ship (even better good old OG Belfast)

Do superships need to retrain captains or do they qualify as "premiums" where you can move commanders on and off it? I wonder when they will give superships their own special equipment.
Superships come with their own “special equipment” baked into the ship. It’s what makes them special. As for the existing Tier 10 unique upgrades WG have basically abandoned them as they haven’t made new ones in years and they have made the existing few SUPER hard to access in the research bureau as they are Super grindy

I would have traded Survivability Expert for Radio Location and Gun Feeder (I know that's Halsey's specialty, can you dorp it? def dont need it on a 5.6 sec reload). I LOVE knowing where subs and DDs are and chasing them.
I love DM and Annapolis is the only SS I have or will have. And she's great. I think the firing angles are great, the accuray is the same as DM officially but I am a lot more accurate in Annapolis. Her AA is also fearsome, I've got FFT selected. I wish they'd stop calling them superships and just call them T11's. That's clearly what they are. Their introduction has screwed up MM a bit, but I assume things will settle down. T8 is the new T9 now, LOL.
So with the Annapolis you use less Island cover? I continue to use islands and usually sink before I get 20k-50k damage. Maybe I'm just not very good, playing my Annapolis. hahaha. Having made that point, though, I really, really enjoy playing the Annapolis.
if you make less than 50k on average at T10 it means you shouldn't be playing at T10. Focus on getting better, spotting and killing prio ships (DDs and radar cruisers)
@@richardcobb4287 with USN cruisers the trick is to know which island to camp and when to get out if they are pushing you. Try to get out when the enemy (CAs and BBs) is around 1km before your detectability range (so 10.5km in Cleveland)
Got both, conde is a superb long (15 - 18km) range kiting sniper. Annapolis is insane at pushing forward to own a section of the map off an island, it’s fabulous at this.
i really dont understand the condes armor scheme. I was playing annapolis in CB today and several times i was sub 7km from a broadside Conde. In one instance i used forward gun ripple fire hit all 18 shells and got 12 over pens and 6 full pens but not a single damn citadel. I aimed just forward of his 1st gun and the shells hit basically his whole hull yet nothing. How the hell do you cit that bastard?
I hate everything that superships are, especially carriers, AA is utterly useless and reduced to a meme completely even for Halland cause who the fuck can shoot down planes at 340+ knots
Let's just stop beating around the bush WG and call these T11s. Make them only be able to fight against T10s, as T9 is not competitive against these "superships"

@@bryantan8654 Tier 7 vs 9 is almost certainly worse, not least because of the lack of healing at tier 7. That alone is a HUGE step up in power. When a ship has potentially a LOT more health AND can heal when you can't, that simply makes the difference all the more significant.
Annapolis lol, you can cit Annapolis from the front with Yamato or Shikishima probably the weakest super ship so far, choice for island hugging player which very bad news considering Russian CV can nuke it or even better get devastating strike by submarine.

The entire point of T9 premiums no longer exists. Half your games are 5+ SS per game. Ruins so many ships that used to be fun.
that is how the other 6 tiers feels (3 to 8), always meet 2 tier highters ships.

Agreed, the utility of the Annapolis is hard to argue with. Conde is probably better at stat padding/long range spam but not in close.
Conde can rekt Annapolis on 1vs1 pretty easily because of the 50% reload booster.

The difference is.des Moines already a top quality ship so giving her an extra gun and some more HP you get quantity and quality.
Conde is still the better ship but only by a small margin. Annapolis is higher risk but higher reward (unless you take range mod)
