TRU-02 GLOBAL PANDEMICS, REVELATION 4 & THE ONE SEATED ON THE THRONE

- How should WE PROCESS THE SPREAD OF OUR CURRENT GLOBAL PANDEMIC? There is a perfect, inspired, timely guide for daily living in disastrous, fearful times WRITTEN BY GOD! Today's lesson is how to apply that guide to what we are watching unfolding around us TODAY! God wants us to orient every day of our lives to the truth that He is seated above each moment of our lives. Opening to Revelation 4 & 5 is much like remembering that the blazing stars of a cloudless night are always there, we just rarely see them. So, we must not let the rest of life distract us from the foundational truths that we must always remember as we open our hearts and minds to God's Word. Every moment of every day:
Heaven is Real. God is on THE Throne; and, we are His servants.
As we open to Revelation 4:2-3, we see not only The Throne central to Heaven, we also see: The One Seated on The Throne.
THE ONE SEATED ON THE THRONE
Every moment of life is lived before the eyes of God, Seated on His Throne.
No event of our life is missed by the One Seated there.
That is the message of the next sentence in this letter.
Please stand with me, and listen with me to the voice of God from His Word, speaking through John, as we together read together from the slide:
Revelation 4:2-3 (NKJV) Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. 3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.
The Throne is central to Heaven; but even more, The One Seated on the Throne, is central to everything.
Every event in the world, every birth, death, disaster, war, social event, or secret meeting: unfolds before the eyes of That One Seated on The Throne.
Nothing is ever missed by the One Seated there.
That is the viewfinder, the lens, and the frame that God asks us to use: to understand all that happens in our life.
The very first time we see God explicitly showing us an event framed by The Throne is in I Kings 22:18-23. Please turn back there with me in your personal copy of God's Word.
As you turn there, we are seeking to learn how we can:

God does not only speak through His word...
They didn't have Sunday School in Job's days because the Roman Catholic Church was far off from his time. I think that Job and his family were Sabbath observers. Even if there wasn't a temple in his life, they still had knowledge of the seventh day being set aside as a holy day into the Lord.
Sabbath law was given to the Israelites only under Moses not to Job, not even to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The law was introduced/given 430 years after Abraham, who's a contemporary of Job.

No, sabbaths have been established since creation week. Even Adam and Eve were told by God about the way he ordained it all the way back then.
@@FrankPCarpi Can you give me a verse that Sabbath law was given to Adam and Eve? The only command that was given to them was to "not eat from the fruit of the tree of good and evil." God did rest on the 7th day. But The law of Moses, including the Sabbath law was given 430 years after Abraham only(Gal 3: 17).
To the Colossians, this is what Paul said in Colossians 2: 16. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days.

God rested, so when Yahweh rested of His work, and He walked with them in the cool of the day. Did it have to be written? If God showed man seventh day sabbath from the beginning, it was an unwritten law. Did your mom and dad have to write down every house rule for you?

Here's some more verses regarding the law, which includes the sabbath law.
Galatians 2: 15. We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16. Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Galatians 2: 21. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Galatians 3: 24. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Hebrews 10: 1. For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
We are in the world but not of the world....

To answer your question about why Job had so many female donkeys: This is typical, you have very few males, the strongest ones you have collected over time, that is your strong genetic male stock. Then you have countless females. For production, because you only need one male to impregnate a large number of females. Job was a large scale breeder of donkeys in his time.
In all fairness, though, a person can learn a program in a single day. That is definitely not possible with the Bible, short of the miraculous power of the Holy Spirit.

In the book of Job, the fallen angels approach the Father. They have no power there but they are allowed to exercise their power on earth. YHVH has to give permission before they can touch us but He won't if it doesn't serve His purpose. People are still learning to trust Him. So like Job, He might give limited permission. When we pray, we partly go before the throne, because we have this life. Fallen angels approach knowing they are fully in the presence of YHVH.
Or maybe heaven has a part where the Devil and his angels have access. Just like the tabernacle, that is a copy of that which is in heaven, had the outer court, holy place and holy of holies. When the common Israelites had dispute, it's settled in the outer court.
In think, the devil has access to the "outer court" of heaven, even today.
Revelation 12: 7. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8. And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Can you clarify your question? And towards one of the reply posters, sounds like at least one person is under the misconception that the fallen angels are demons not knowing these are entirely different.

I'm also curious to know why Catholics pray to Mary and/or the Saints when Jesus said in John 14:3 "I am the way,the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". Prayer in Catholicisms definition is spiritual communication not worship and not bringing the dead back to life.
Mary and the Saints are alive in Christ Jesus and in His presence the prayers of a righteous man availeth much.
Mary & the Saints go to Jesus with us and pray with us as we ask others around us to pray.
Mary specifically is the "Queen Mother" (Gebirah) like ALL the rest of the Mothers of the Kings in the line of King David in the tribe of Judah were and as such their Royal Role was to interceed for the Kings people to their King Sons like in 1 Kings 2:19.
You see the Davidic Kingdom foreshadows Jesus' Eternal Kingdom and King David and Solomon foreshadow Jesus as Bathsheba foreshadows Mary. Jesus (being God) chose His Mother as well as was her son as King David chose his wife and Solomon was her Son and from then on ALL the Kings and Queens in the line of King David in the tribe of Judah were Mother and Son.
