Why six months when advent doesn’t start until the first Sunday in December and ends on the Epiphany 6th January. Glad I don’t live there.

True! We filipinos starts celebrating Christmas during "BER" months. You will hear christmas songs playing on the malls and along the street. Also, you will start seeing lanterns and christmas lights hanging on the house and on the frontyard.

Right when the first day of “ ber months “ fall, we slowly count the days to when Christmas comes. Christmas decorations slowly are put up , air at night becomes colder & malls/shops (basically anywhere you go tho) spread the cheer with Christmas songs + people start saving up or start buying gifts 😭🥺🤍
Also all of these ends by atleast end of January hahaha so Taylor swift’s song “ we could put our christmas tree up till january “ is so relevant to us hahaha
Fall is the best. The color changes outside are the best in the cooler air.

As I predicted some time back; Lincoln would be running through the house and no one can catch up. Can't wait for him to start talking.
Oh my goodness, picking out fixtures for a home renovation is so stressful.
My husband gutted our home to the studs and moved plumbing and electrical. His first question to me is what type of finish do you want on the walls. I said, huh. He said flat or textured. I never even thought about such a thing.
My suggestion is pay attention to the trims around doors and windows and interior door styles. Pulls on drawers and cabinets and door handles make a huge difference too.
I think you have the right idea to stay timeless and classic. Subway tiles are inexpensive and look great.
