Hey friends, thanks for the kind words about my run! Gotta be real, I love this game a lot, despite its flaws, so I'm so glad to have been able to show it off. Even though, with all the new strats, it just moves SO FAST, so I can barely explain anything.
Maybe I'll get 225 in some year~ or Zork Nemesis!!

You never finished your story about the plant and the game being really aggressive about impossible to complete situations (from around the 6:00 timestamp). I'm really curious what that's all about, but I couldn't find anything to help me out online.

Not sure what I liked more, the silliness of an old early 90's game I never knew about or the comments section on this video.
I remember playing this when it first came out. Parts that stick in my mind are "Want some rye? Course you do" and being repeatedly murdered by everything.

There was actually a game ran in 2015 named "Town with no name" which WAS point and click and ALSO just as bad.
"Just as bad"? Return to Zork got rave reviews when it came out and has been regularly placed on many best games lists.
@@aidennwitz I got Return to Zork when it was new and I didn't enjoy it. It felt very random and slopped together. It didn't hold a candle to Myst which came out the same year.
Great run! This game was way cooler than I thought it would be, especially for a '93 point-and-click :^)

I have incredibly fond memories of this game. I was stuck at it for months before my parents got me the strategy guide. I really just needed, like, ONE hint and everything else fell into place. I think it was the stupid "LUD" inscription that made no sense to me.
There's a certain retro charm to the old point and click adventure games that you don't get anywhere else, so I'm happy to see this.
Why i am glad they remastered grim fandango to give people who never played or heard a chance
I've only ever played the text version of Zork. It was ridiculously hard
The graphics in this game blew me away 25 years ago. Such nostalgia.

I actually had this game on CD back in '94 or something, I'm 100% sure games (like this one) taught me English & advanced logic at a young age. THe songs and atmosphere in this one are awesome :)

This was fun to watch. I have lots of fond memories of playing the graphical Zork games. Return to Zork isn't exactly _good_ (and that bonding plant is BS), but it has plenty of memorable moments. Plus it came with the Encyclopedia Frobozzica, this awesome little book of ridiculous made-up facts about the Great Underground Empire.
But Zork: Grand Inquisitor was the best graphical Zork. That was one of my all-time favorite point-and-click adventure games, up there with Legend of Kyrandia 3.
I love these old FMV point and click games. Very entertaining run.

Seems kinda... interesting? But also pretty weird and illogical. Then again that was a thing for a lot of these games then.

This is more distinct from Zork Nemesis than I expected. The acting is about the same though.
OriginalPiMan zork nemesis is surprisingly serious for a zork game, but I loved it. (Though the guillotine puzzle May be the funniest thing they’ve done)
Nemesis is so incredibly Macabre and nothing like any of the other entries in the series. Still a challenging game.
