What a great video seeing it opened up for the first time after all these years! I personally think it's still a great console and well built. It's crazy to think how old it is and that it can still play newer games like Resident Evil 2 remake without problems. You also have Gamepass and backward compatibility and the choice to pick up cheap physical games in second hand shops.
It’s definitively a great console to own even today, i personally like the bulky (but whisper quiet) look of it, and all it’s features.. it sure is one of my favorite consoles of all time!
I love these first gen Xbox One consoles. I got one in box 6 months ago, the White version. I recently installed a Samsung EVO 870 SSD in it, runs like a champ! Kinda of overkill but fun project and I get to say I have a Samsung EVO in my first gen Xbox one lol! Sick video 👍
@@theBAGGERBWOI The SSD won’t help with power, but it will load games faster, less texture pop in and the Menus are way more snappy in the User interface. Definitely an upgrade over a stock Hard Drive.
I have this bundle of xbox one and total playtime on this console would be 5 hours max. I moved to one x and this console is cared for nicely and kept in a pristine condition in my closet.

I still want another Xbox One S as that's what I first had but I don't think I have ever seen an original Xbox in person even in store as a display. Hard to think this and the Xbox One X is even the same console well outside of the 4K stuff One X has.
bro in my opinion i like it beacause is an old console that makes me feel a little bit nostalgic and it runs good i like it beacause if you have a 30 fps you will see more lag on pc yhen the console but yeah thats my opinion :)
Sadly an update is mandatory in order to be able to use it, i believe it’s to remove the original drm and restrictions that xbox one was supposed to have like no used games, kinect having to be always plugged in, being online every 24 hours. etc.

They should have named it xbox 720 or xbox 900 since it runs 99.99 of games on 720p or 900.. And if by pure chance u have a series s in 2020 and later years, this piece of f... will force u to run games on those resolutions regardless of u having a 9th generation consule So long story short..totally piece of f---

@@christian198702 Yeah it boots up really quick and loads games fast as heck, sometimes 1/2 the time or faster than the original Hard Drive.

No it's locked at 30fps, if it wasn't locked I suspect it would most likely reach to the 40s but with fluctuations so not very stable.

It's a good 900p - 1080p gaming machine and a lot of games do run at 60fps (and a lot at only 30fps) but still alright in 2022.
