- Hello everyone! Today's video will be about the Malaysian-spec 2020 Perodua Axia five-door hatchback with the 1.0 litre 1KR-VE naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 67 hp (68 PS) paired to a 4-speed automatic in the Style trim.
Below is the list of current Axia five-door hatchback variants available in Malaysia as of 19th October 2020. I arranged it from the cheapest to the most expensive.

Cool is cool. But the lack of front parking sensor means it is missing a bit of safety. Unlike Axia SE 2020, it is equipped with both front and rear parking sensor which makes it the ideal car of my choice.
This little car actually don't need the front parking because of the size of the car
You can always install it aftermarket

Hey Alex, can you do a review of the axia e and the saga standard manual. They are quite rare and not many people know about it.
Toyota Agya looks sophisticated than Axia nowadays. It comes 1.2 with inline 4 engine. The most important is, now the Ac panel is come with digital already.
But it still lacks any safety equipment bar 2 airbags, ISOFIX, and ABS/EBD, which is more important than a digital A/C panel or a larger engine.
@@alexlovesmac oh well, maybe have mistaken. Agya comes standart with 2 airbags since 2014 as the first time it comes. Then 2017 up in TRD version, the ABS/EBD and then ISOFIX (since 2015) already standart to this car. The. 2020 it comes with new digital ac panel. You may check it later on, because I have 2015 Toyota Agya also. And I’m still considerate to upgrade it to 2020.
@@wishandyliputra I'm not mistaken? I know it has 2 airbags, ISOFIX, and ABS/EBD, that's why I mentioned above those are the only safety features it has, and it doesn't have anything else bar those.
@@alexlovesmac oh then i misunderstanding what you mean. Hehehe.. yeah thats the feature it has. But you really have to try Agya 1.2 one day. The engine is much smoother than 1.0 that quite vibrate at beginning.
@@wishandyliputra Haha. No worries. To be honest, I think 1.0 is enough for this car. If I wanted something more powerful, I'd for the 1.3 Myvi
the Style is offered with the 4-sp auto only. The 5-sp manual is available on the E variant only.

@EJ Tan But I never said Style together with '5-speed manual' or '4-speed automatic'. The only time I mentioned Style was when explaining it had rear parking sensors. Besides, in the description, I mentioned the available variants of the Axia. I mean, if someone would get confused with either what I said in the video or what's in the description box, then... 🤷🏻♂️😂

In Indonesia, we have 1.2L engine variant (you still can buy the 1.0L one).

@@silverfever961 well, Agya - Ayla is LCGC, so what do you expect ?
i use axia se, and i can say that not much different with this except for the newly remote and button start stop, which is very significant change p/s: the most i hate about axie se was central lock manually lock and not by pressing brake like viva.
Just install the auto brake lock module at the accessory shops, it'll cost you just 150 bucks and a 15 minute installation job. Bear in mind the connecting port for the FL Axia is different that of the pre-FL Axia.

If buying cheap car especially new brand under RM 100K, there are more issues such as lack of safety system, body car like tin can and lack of security. Perodua should have LCD Instrument Cluster on soon.
You get based what you pay lahh. Demand more, go buy Mini Cooper.
For we Malaysians, having an alarm is already a blessing and plus point. Regarding tin can, people use car to move not to fill liquid and drink 😂

Should focus on building good interior plastic instead of current one, but reliable engine is the most important thing

It maybe a basic car, but I think Perodua should really update the Axia's interior. It just looks too bland and cheap
but for me axia interior is at least still better than saga premium interior. saga interior is too boring except the infotaiment system...
All perodua interior has plasticky cheap feeling

Axia was produced in Perodua Main Factory at Rawang,Selangor
