Bridge Trail Cam Video, Annual Duck Box Cleanout

Once or twice a year I clean out my duck boxes. I remove the old cedar chips, egg shells and unhatched eggs from the boxes and replace the material with fresh cedar chips. It's always fun to watch the critters dig through the detritus. Enjoy

so much raccoon interest in the duck box refuse.... couldn't tell what those balls were... crab apples? wild walnut? The raccoons were having trouble cracking them.
always good seeing what's happening on the bridge.... thanks snakeman!

@@jakehayes1345 Unhatched eggs. Most clutches don’t have a 100% hatch rate. It’s amusing when a coon bites into an egg that has gasses built up in it from decomposition. Sounds like a rifle shot…👍👍
