From a long time player, welcome to the game. From the few videos I've seen of yours, you are clearly becoming invested with the story, and the ride is only beginning.
Just in case no one told you, Yugiri was going to be a bigger part of Heavensward, but her post-ARR English voice actress, Sian Blake, was murdered part way through development, and the developers chose not to recast her until the killer was caught.

That's interesting, she felt so well-fitting in Stormblood that I just thought she was just an incredibly slow build-up to traveling to Doma. What a shame for the voice actress, and less importantly, it's interesting to think what would have been Yugiri's role in Heavensward
I know it's not easy for you but I love how you wear your emotions on your sleeve. I have the opposite problem and am slightly envious. Love your reactions Jorja and I can't wait to watch the highlighted end of ARR 🤗

My hobby is watching new people try FFXIV and saying "Wow this is the best story I have ever played" and I'm always like "Heh, wait till you get to xxxxxxx"
Honestly out of all the games i've played FF14 is #1 for me in story. love going back and re-watching scenes from ARR to Current content.
also i can't get enough of the music for boss fights. love hitting phase 2 on a boss an some head banger music comes out of nowhere. (Ex:Titan or Shiva Extreme)

As you play through Heavensward I fully recommend you playing the sidequests in Ishgard and the other areas as you discover them. Those quests do a great job immersing you in the atmosphere and culture of each place, and they will absolutely tear your heart out. They span the whole emotional range from happy go lucky to "The Little Match Girl".
I can't wait for you to reach Shadowbringers and Endwalker.
It's fairly simple. ARR breaks you. Heavensward will destroy you. Stormblood will just be a C4 under your chair about to blow up for good measure. And Shadowbringers and Endwalker are tactical missiles ready to finish the job. Strap in, your ride has only just begun.

Just remember, as good as it looks, your still in content designed to work on a PS3. It wasn't until Stormblood that they dropped PS3 support!

You will see more of Cid, especially if you do side content. (the level 70 raid series comes to mind) I'm assuming you already did Crystal tower. Have your friends/watchers taken you through Binding Coils of bahamut?

I love the jump in quality from ARR into the end of post ARR/HW, its amazing and feels like a reward for the tens of hours of primal filler lol
Ohh girl, you're so not ready for what comes next, but in all fairness no one really was/is. Still get chills watching the trailer, HW really is that good.
The ending of ARR is what separates a good game from a great game and believe me, it only gets better.
