I am in love with how in some scenes, Kakania's glasses are shown to be completely opaque which makes her expression almost unknown. ESPECIALLY in the last scene when she hypnotizes Isolde. It gives me some strange sense of hesitation or regret(?) I just like that detail!!! Thank you for making this video I'll be watching this for a week.

as a usual comment section lurker i felt the need to comment as someone who really loves the original song this was so beautiful i literally choked up at the end thinking of the emotions that ran through kakania and isolde during that scene in the story beautifully done i look forward to whenever you do something like this again

I love this so much! You did really well capturing both Isolde's AND Kakania's pain. They care for each other, but they simply are not on the same moral page and probably never will be. Isolde is (almost) too far gone due to her illness and Kakania knows that she failed as her psychiatrist. She lost a dear friend, no, multiple friends, since she was friends with Theophil and Heinrich as well. Both are dead now, and Isolde...well. We've seen her version of "releasing her repressed emotions". And Isolde feels betrayed, because Kakania used hypnosis on her, when she clearly never approved of that method before. She took advantage of Isolde's mental state to lure her into her chamber, which really is a cruel thing to do, betraying their friendship. But Isolde didn't leave her any other chance in that absurd situation, the world was literally being erased. I think chapter 6 is amazingly well written, both the story and the granny narrator bits. Both Isolde and Klara have quickly become my number 1 and 2 characters (well, besides Pickles, he holds a special place in my heart lol).
chapter 6 is basically the best story for me so far, and isolde and kakania became one of favorite characters too because of how tragic their story is 😭
