Bonus. Hans Lippershey
Surely, the coldest desert in the world must be the one in Antarctica (which is also the biggest).
47 correct
75/100 Really hard quiz . Lippershey for the telescope. I believe you made an error in Question 17 .The largest waterfall in the world is Victoria Falls. Angel Falls is the Highest.
You folks have had some inaccurate answers on almost all of your quizzes, and I have always allowed for the occasional error, but this one takes the cake. I'm only commenting on questions that I knew contained incorrect answers.
Q2: Palestine is the land of prophets. Israel is the only country on your list that is in Palestine.
Q3: Australia is the largest island in the world, unless you are not counting continents as islands. If that is the case, you should say so.
Q17: The largest waterfall in the world is the Denmark Cataract, which is an underwater waterfall. On land, the highest is Angel Falls, but the largest in flow is Inga Falls.
Q23: This question's answer is correct, but it was the third question to have Shakespeare as the answer, not the second.
Q24: The chameleon changes its color based on mood, not to match its surroundings,, The octopus changes color (and skin texture) to match its surroundings.
Q28: All three plants are carnivorous because they live in acidic, nutrient-poor soils.
Q30: Spartina and Salicornia both live in salt marshes.
Q31: The Gobi Desert is in both Mongolia and China.
Q33: The Amazon and the Nile are very close in length and which is longer can vary seasonally.
Q35: Erosion and weathering are both processes in which rocks are broken down by natural forces. They are essentially the same thing.
Q36: The "ship of the desert" is the dromedary camel, so two of your answers are correct.
Q37: The hyacinth macaw is the longest parrot in the world, but the heaviest parrot is the kakapo. All questions you asked about the largest of something (snakes, for instance) were looking for the heaviest of its kind.
I couldn't make it any farther than that, but I'm sure you get my point. Sorry to be a stickler, but was too egregious to let go.
Agree with all of the above. At least one duplicate before I gave up at No 65.
Agree with those. At the time of writing I'm up to Q.66 where they incorrectly give the answer of "Kangchenjunga" as the highest mountain outside of Nepal, and not K2, which was one of their options. Kangchenjunga is also mostly inside Nepal or at least on the border between Nepal and India, so who knows what 5jey were thinking here.
94/100 Why did you repeat so many questions?
La Paz is not the city at the highest altitude
Cactus is a succulent. And if Damascus is the oldest city why is Syria not the answer to Q82. Also Shakespeare and Lake Victoria are the answers to multiple questions. Cuttlefish and Octopuses can also change color. Q83 seriously ..the answer is in the question. You did the same with Hanging gardens of Babylon being in Babylon
The largest waterfall on the planet is victoria falls, angel falls is the tallest!
dromedary is atype of came,l!
Q89 ?? Leonardo Da Vinci is a type of bird now? Q94 none of the above, John Michell in 1784 proposed black holes
Still very slow,
OK, this is getting absurd...
If the world's oldest continuously inhabited city is Damascas, then you can not give the country for this city as Iraq in Q.82, since Damascus is the capital of Syria... 🤣🤣
