I also got decent marks in NEET but still was far from getting a government college. We cannot afford a private college as well. But I find myself extremely lucky that it's almost a year after NEET, my parents never shouted at me. They accepted my result and encouraged me to take further decisions. I am blessed to have such supporting parents. Every student requires mental support and faith even more than the study materials.

I am also going to do like this😁😁 I want to study in engineering but my father wants to me study in medical. But I won't leave my decision because I have to lead my life. I will take both preparation, but I will mainly focus on engineering. In fact, Mathematics and Physics are my love, passion and relaxation. Though I like Biology, I will choose engineering.

This story is really inspiring. The plus point was Chummi's parents weren't from Medical field or else they would have asked her daily questions or had some talks related to their subject which would become a problem when she wasn't preparing for Medical exam. This story is same as mine but the only plus point was her parents weren't from same field/background or else she be under pressure and depression.

This story is similar to mine and my story is that from start i wanted to study about computers and gaming but my father wants me to study about medical bcz I'm a very intelligent student I've always got first position so I've gave my 9th and 10th exams in medical field very bad so that I could study about software engineering and I'm preparing for it on an online app I am sure that'll also be in top 20 all over the country 🙂

Damn, so inspiring! I can literally feel what chummi must be feeling when her parents never supported her and her dreams coz it's just the same for me. I'm trying my absolute best to come over my depression coz my parents are actually demotivating me as much as they can. They always rant about the silliest things, they make me feel like I'm worth of literally nothing. It hurts alot. Its just like the song 'older' when the singer sings the line - " My parents aren't heros they're just like me, loving is hard don't always work. "

Don't know why people have a stereotype thinking that a PCM student would be an engineer and a PCB or PCMB student would be a doctor 😤 this stereotype needs to be changed because I have been facing this , when relatives ask me that I'm a pcm student they by default consider as an engineer. But I will become what I wanna be ✈️✈️👩🏻✈️❤️

I was born and raised in UAE. You'd think that living abroad I would have parents who would understand and support their kid's passions. But nope. Straight after 12th Boards, they had me shipped off to India to study Engineering. Now I was a decently good student so I could manage but I absolutely hated everything about being there. Now I have nothing against India, but its really really difficult for someone who was born and raised in a Gulf country for 18 years. On top of that I hated engineering. I grew up singing, dancing and being creative all my life. I wanted to pursue a field that was creative as well. After a year of enduring all sorts of mental torture I finally sat my family down and firmly told them that if I continued engineering in India I would probably die. So yeah I finally convinced them after months of back and forth to let me study Media and Communications back in Dubai. Throughout the course I always heard taunts from everyone but I kept my head down and did what I do best, silently. Now, I'm graduated and have an amazing job in the heart of the city. I could even say that I'm earning way more than any of the people that studied engineering with me. So yeah, the fight to pursue your passion really really takes guts. And sometimes, even though they think they know best, your parents become an obstacle when they should be your biggest support. Just know that these are the times you have to stand down and do what you believe is right. It all works out in the end. Cheers

Even I’m a NEET dropper, it was my second attempt this year, it didn’t go well... my parents are straightforwardly blaming me that I didn’t study well, but the fact is I was just nervous and stressed out during the exam, so couldn’t perform well. I’m ssly fed up of listening to all these taunts, MBBS is my dream so I’ll definitely not leave it so easily, I’m attempting it for the third time next year with more confidence and calmness!!

Yes his stories are interesting
In story, they first try fashion course and after they try neet exam ( by the parent) and third they exam mass communication , I know almost same story of my friend, they also try fashion course almost (5-6 lakh) after they preparing for neet exam by doing coaching ( almost 1-2 lakh) and thirds they try other exam ( 3 lakh almost for study material and coaching ) . but in his story parent are totally bankrupt and they have only two option , first forget typical family and get scholarship and complete his study and dream or support his family for today situation , In today , they support his family and also save money for his studies. In my opinion, the real struggle is earn money and support family + Complete dream, Not using parent money and then choose different course and waste money , complete the dream

She is so freaking amazing!! I would like to be surrounded by ppl like her, ppl who dare to take risks for their dreams. My parents (especially my dad) were also like "you have to become a doctor" just like her parents even though while choosing Biology I CLEARLY, VERY CLEARLY stated that I want to become an Astrobiologist in the Space Industry. I didn't wanna waste my time at all and was sure about what I want to do, so during that time I fought w my parents a lot lol and it was worth it😎
